Of Freedom and Terror
The terrorists want to destroy our way of life.
Since they will never kill everyone in the United States, the only way they can destroy our way of life is if they convince our fellow citizens that freedom can be exchanged for safety.
Convert by way of the sword, or die.
This conversion is not only by religion, but by the way we live. If ever a time shall come when the basic constitutional rights of all inhabitants of the United States is abridged in an attempt to prevent terror, at that moment the terrorists will have won.
Democracy and freedom will never succeed in the middle east if we do not realize that the only way we will lose the war on terror is if we start attacking our own way of life.
