Obama’s Flim-Flam on the War Against Terrorism
On Friday, Obama made an announcement that he was sending more troops to Afghanistan and Pakistan(!?), to protect Americans! Very interesting, since the leftie meme on war in the ME has been that it’s illegal, immoral and that it endangers our security to fight them there. Taken as a whole, Obama’s statement appeared to be tough talk about AQ and other terrorists, but it was not what it seemed.
Like with the Clintons, you have to examine every word Obama says to figure out what he really means, and his speech contained some nuggets of Obamaspeak.
He promised to “disrupt, dismantle and defeat” AQ, but never used the terms “destroy” or “kill”.
We already know that these are religious zealots, whose faith commands them to kill, without mercy, anyone who is not of their faith, along with some who are of their faith, but not orthodox enough.
I’m not sure what Obama thinks will happen to those fanatics after they’ve been “disrupted, dismantled and defeated”. Does he think they will just go home and take up knitting or quilting, along with abandoning their murderous commitment to spreading Islam?
We have already learned from bitter experience that, if they aren’t destroyed, they will simply regroup somewhere else, and when they have achieved enough strength, attack again like they did on 9/11.
Another Obama flim-flam, like the so-called “stimulus package”.
