Obama’s Dangerous Military Plans

Obama wants to gut our military and unitlaterally disarm. If this is not an actor, he does: This is an uninterrupted 51-second video of Obama speak ing; he’s telling us exactly what he will do to the military...watch it before this too is removed off the web site.

Robert108: I am only sorry I missed it the first time. Now tell me why McCain probably will not use this in the campaign? Afraid he might offend the anti-military Left?

Who knows?  I didn’t like the way he acted on the Ellen Degeneres Show, either.  She came up in his face with the so-called “gay marriage” thing, and he could have advocated for real marriage in the same way she advocated for her position.  He didn’t, which I think is to his discredit.  I’m not saying he should have been nasty about it, just firm in his stance.  I don’t think one has to be apologetic in standing up for the right thing, especially when 60% of Californians agree with him.  He could have won CA with the right response there.

Actually, Neiman, I’m glad you put it up again; not enough people saw it the first time.  It’s important info about who Obambi really is.

robert108:  Did we watch thw same show?  McCain said - and I’m paraphrasing here - that he could support same-sex unions, but that he believed marriage must be reserved for a man and a woman.  He was smiling when he said it and looked Degeneres in the eye.

She then made her joke about him walking her down the aisle.

If it was a news clip you saw, several of them showed only the walk-me-down-the-aisle bit.

I watched the entire interview.  I thought I was clear in saying that he didn’t cave, but he wasn’t firm enough for my taste.

Maybe it’s just another example of why it’s unwise to sit down with an adversary with no preconditions.  /slight humor

It seems to be the consensus of opinion that in the 2008 election, no matter who wins - we are so screwed! Maybe a little soft talk and sweet music from McCain, but in the end we get it in the end no matter what!

pp: Why is it that the bunch that calls itself “The Democratic Party” doesn’t want to use the democratic process to decide this issue?

r108: Because they would get their asses whipped, that’s why!  Hence, the typical liberal strategy:  run to the courts with a convoluted case argument, defended by a battery of mealy-mouthed ACLU lawyers.

So much for Providing for the defense! Wow, that is scary!

I sure hope he doesn’t win…

Zsa Zsa on May 25, 2008 at 12:50 pm

No surprise here.  The Dems have pretty well done this after each war.

Doc, BUT the war is not over.

Zsa Zsa on May 25, 2008 at 04:53 pm

Zsa, it will be when they defund it.  I think you are forgetting Viet Nam where the Dems grabbed defeat out of the jaws of victory.  Can’t fight a war without money.
