Obama was a student while at Harvard of Derrick Bell, a law professor whose “Critical Race Theory” is the ideological equivalent of Wright’s Black Liberation Theology.
Derrick Bell is the founder of “Critical Race Theory"- Rev Wright preaches Black Liberation Theology- Rev Wright was the Obama’s pastor, spiritual advisor and mentor for twenty years. “Critical Race Theory” is the same as “Black Liberation Theology” only without the pretense of religiousity.

The intention Critical Race Theorists is to encourage minority students to regard the law not as a body of rules applicable equally to all citizens but rather as a malleable concept, subordinate to one’s perceived identity interests. [black liberation theology also encourages this]
Since racial minorities, in Professor Bell’s view,[ and Jeremiah Wright’s view] are a permanently oppressed caste-and racism is a normal permanent aspect of American life-equality before the law is oppressive to African Americans, whose moral claims are superior to those of whites.
Central to it’s courses [ and to black liberation sermons]is the claim that minority status confers the privilege of interpreting the law as one pleases.
Critical Race Theory professors [and black liberation theology preachers]exhort the black community to reject the distinction between lawful and unlawful activity, regarding this distinction as one of the imposed strictures of an oppressive white society.
Accordingly, they both pour scorn on such “traditional values” as “conformity to the law,” which they insist will “intensify divisions within the black community.”
Derrick Bell has endorsed a journal dedicated to the “abolition of whiteness,” called Race Traitor, whose motto is “Treason to the white race is loyalty to humanity.”
According to Derrick Bell and his fellow Critical Race theorists, existing legal structures are, like American society at large, racist in their very construction.
Critical Race Theory [and black liberation theology]suggests that to combat this “institutional racism,” oppressed racial groups have both the right and the duty to decide for itself, which laws are valid and worth observing.
