Obama speaks in North Carolina:  A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Obama speaking to his crowd:

Here’s the pull-back shot:

Can you say “fake”?  As in “what a fake”?

Wow! That pull back shot must be of those crowds rbb was saying had all the Dems motivated!
“Obama- surrounded by his follower”! Heh.

Those who think the party or the country, will be “taught a lesson” by handing the levers of power over to the liberals will learn a lesson, but it will be at the expense of our country and her liberties. And there are no guarantees that the party or the country will come out stronger, more conservative or better positioned to win elections against the incumbent liberals.

How pathetic!
The crowd behind him actually look as if they’re being instructed on what to do, and some look confused.
I’ve seen move attendance at B league school basketball games

Well there ya go.
That proves it.
Obama is all washed up.
It’s all over.

Did you notice how they photoshopped his fingers to hide him flipping us the bird!

Wasn’t that speech televised? Otherwise, he wouldn’t have had a choice.  And the man still had a crowd, at least he recognized their effort.

Just some my 2 cents of common sense.  Don’t worry, I don’t support this man. ; D

RBB, I never said he was washed, just that I need a wash having seen how he operates.

What you do in your free time should be kept private.

Yes C, Obama planned to have and empty auditorium at 9:30 on a school night and he obviously paid off all the networks to only use camera angles that showed him close up.

BTW, do you have the NC vote tallies?
I heard he won.

So what’s your point, Bob?  You really think it was photoshopped?

You’re hilarious.  And you’re a dupe.

Carrick on May 7, 2008 at 09:07 am

No C, that was a joke.

Well I can put you in contact with the person who took the pictures if you want.

Carrick on May 7, 2008 at 09:15 am

Whew.

He doesn’t need to pay them to only use certain camera angles of course.  They do that for him for free.

Carrick on May 7, 2008 at 09:18 am

I was off my prediction by one point, which was a 15-point spread.

Carrick on May 7, 2008 at 09:24 am

Among other things, any event must be open only to those with tickets tightly controlled by organizers. Those entering must be screened in case they are hiding secret signs. Any anti-Obama demonstrators who manage to get in anyway should be shouted down by “rally squads” stationed in strategic locations. And if that does not work, they should be thrown out.

The organizers of this Obama event are no doubt the same ones who were noted just a few weeks ago looking for “more white people” to sit behind the candidate and his teleprompter and smile, holding signs that said “Change” with no earthly idea exactly what sort of change they should be expecting.

Isn’t the empty space set up with tables?
Empty press tables perhaps?
Where is the liberal media?

It appears that there is a riser set up in front of the lectern and appears to be full.
Perhaps this is the crowd (2000-3000?) expected/invited by the organizers.

Perhaps C’s photographer buddy has a few answers about the tables and what they were used for earlier in the day.

Are there photographs of McCain rallies?

The tables were media booths.

I would suspect that Obama could have filled the room had he wanted to.  That doesn’t bother me, just the palpably fake nature of this setup.

Fake but accurate, reality bob?

Carrick on May 7, 2008 at 11:13 am

Carrick,

An apt description of the entire Obama campaign, don’t you think?

C, you’re probably smart enough to know that most/all events like this - are staged like this - and broadcast the way this one was, aren’t you?

Aren’t you?

Perhaps you are feeling a little uneasy and acting out now that the dems are close to nominating a candidate and all you have is John McCain.

Why is that C?  Is it because he doesn’t ogle 18 yr old breasts like you?  Is it because he’s not red-blooded male enough for you?

What exactly is so dirty about Obama that could possibly soil you?

Hannitized on May 7, 2008 at 12:11 pm

Heh.

Bob isn’t bothered by fakery, as long as it’s liberal fakery.

The other thing to note is that we don’t know when the pull back shot was taken.  Maybe it was at the same time, maybe it wasn’t?

The fact of the matter is that could have been well before a crowd arrived?  Or not?  Shrug.

OR it could have been the whole crowd. I wonder if any of the morons in the crowd fainted as well?

H, I’ve included a link so you can read more since you seem interested.

Goon, I think somebody did pass into blissfulness during the event.

I’ve wondered if the fainting is staged too.  Not by Obama, but by the people who want their 2.5 seconds of fame.

Hmm.  The photo of the stage is lacking the speaker, Obama.

I would have to guess then that the back-drop shot is also prior to his arrival.

It is amazing the fuss that is being made over this empty suit, a person that has no legislative accomplishments but has people fainting all over themselves.

Bob I thought you were reality based, lol.  Bush had a very strong administrative track record as governor of Texas.  You should do more research, you might learn something.

Just another example of liberal dishonesty.

Being liberal is never having to admit you’re wrong

docdave on May 7, 2008 at 01:06 pm

Why do I keep coming back to this post?

The fact that there is an orderly arrangement of tables and chairs behind what I will describe as a spectator riser tells me that this event was planned to look exactly like this.
It was a made for TV event.

The Townhall Ham writes: “I realize it’s standard practice to rope off an area of a venue for crowd-wrangling and appearances, but this is a little drastic.”

Standard practice? I guess that means standard practice.

Drastic? Her opinion. That’s fair. What does she back her opinion up with? Was the arena booked at the last minute? Was there another venue that canceled? Was it chosen because of its openness to set up an event like this…to handle a sheet load of press and TV cameras from ______(everywhere?). Did the press show up? At one point were all the tables filled?

To cry fake is just chest thumping puffery.

That’s it. I’m finished here.

(When did a governorship fall under the title ‘legislative’, kinda thought that was an executive position?)
(Isn’t Texan governorship one of the weakest governorships in the country?)

RBB:

That’s it. I’m finished here.

But wait!  You haven’t said anything yet!

(When did a governorship fall under the title ‘legislative’, kinda thought that was an executive position?)

You’d prefer legislative experience over administrative for an administrative job?  How does “a strong administrative record” an “empty suit” make?

You’re a laugh a minute.
