Now it’s official - AIDS is the Gay Disease

”> 16i7a74.jpg

Folks, with 70 percent of the people in this country living with HIV being gay or bi(sexual), we cannot deny that HIV is a gay disease. We have to own that and face up to that.

Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force

WHO sounds the alarm about AIDS among the MSM.

And no, it’s not the WHO of QUADROPHENIA fame, nor are they talking about the Mainstream Media (an oxymoron by the way) but the new, politically correct term for Gay, pole-smoking, but-fucking, homosexuals, or Men who have Sex with Men.

Immediate action needed to avert growing AIDS crisis among MSM WHO

The proportion of HIV infections being transmitted among MSM is larger and more significant than originally believed, says World Health Organization adviser Massimo Ghidinelli as a 3-day conference is underway in Hong Kong to consider strategies to deliver better services to MSM communities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned this week that the HIV/AIDS epidemic may take a major turn for the worse in Asia unless countries urgently expand access to services to men who have sex with men (MSM).

Evidence shows that unprotected male-to-male sex is again fueling the spread of HIV. The importance of this re-emerging mode of transmission has prompted WHO’s Regional Office for the Western Pacific, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme, UNAIDS and the Hong Kong (China) Department of Health, to call for swift action to address this growing health crisis.

HIV/AIDS specialists from Asian governments, regional experts and representatives from non-government organisations are meeting at a WHO conference Hong Kong from 18 to 20 February to consider strategies to deliver better services to MSM communities.

“Studies show that at present, the proportion of HIV infections being transmitted among men who have sex with men is larger and more significant than we had originally believed,” said Dr Massimo Ghidinelli, WHO Regional Adviser in HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections. “Action needs to be taken now if a major increase in HIV/AIDS cases is to be averted. We need to target HIV prevention strategies, together with better access to health services, for men who have sex with men.”

Strengthening surveillance and implementing effective interventions for HIV prevention and care among men having sex with men should be prioritised to prevent the further spread of the virus, WHO said. Enacting or enforcing legislation outlawing discrimination against people living with HIV and members of other vulnerable groups would enhance the effectiveness of the response to HIV.

(As Scooby-Doo would grunt in surprise—Huh????  What we should be doing is not enabling disease-inducing homosex by encouraging it with glorification.  Instead, some good old-fashioned stigma should be applied liberally.  Also, testing should be routine, carriers identified and marked with the BIOHAZARD tattoo just above the poobies and below the bikini line.  Insurance companies should be able to adjust their coverage for the added risk of those who are homosexuals and deny coverage for homosexuals who later contract the disease as a self-induced and foreseeable risk. )

Men who have sex with men have been identified as one of the most-at-risk populations for HIV/AIDS.

(No shit, Sherlock! )

A review in December 2007 showed that in Cambodia and Vietnam, men who have sex with men are more likely to contract HIV compared to the general population. And in China, the risk of infection by men who have sex with men is 45 times higher than for men in general. Asia is believed to have the world’s largest number of men having sex with men, estimated at 10 million.

Despite this, a recent UNAIDS report showed that targeted prevention interventions are reaching only 1 percent of the MSM population. The report also showed that in most countries in Asia and the Pacific, national strategic plans for HIV/AIDS do not cover interventions for MSM and transgender individuals.

(What is an intervention????)

The lack of better access to HIV/AIDS services can be traced to the stigma and discrimination associated with male-to-male sex, which is frowned upon in some societies, and to breaches of human rights, including the right to better health.

(Psycho-Babble alert.  Stigma tells them NOT to do what they are doing.  What they are doing makes it highly likely that they will contract the disease.  So now it’s everyone ELSES’ fault that they come down with the disease when the rest of society has been trying to tell them—by way of stigma—that you shouldn’t be doing that???

Also, what is this Human Right to better health?  How about a right for the government to get out of the way?  This is clearly some Socialist inspired right, which has as a flip side, a burden on everyone else, who are not doing homosex, to have to pay the $600,000.00 to treat the AIDS infected before they die. )

In addition, discrimination prevents men who have sex with men from disclosing their sexual orientation or utilising HIV services, resulting in increased vulnerability.

Participating countries in the conference, which will take place in Hong Kong, are Australia, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Hong Kong (China), Japan, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

Group sex and low condom use among gay and bisexual men are spreading HIV rapidly in Asia, making male-to-male intercourse the region’s fastest-growing means of transmitting the deadly virus, health officials said “We’re really in for big trouble. York Chow, Hong Kong’s secretary for food and health, said most MSM do not know their HIV status and that an “important factor” contributing to the spread of HIV among the population is unprotected sex. I recall, way back when, as the Homosexual advocates forced the change in the original name of AIDS from GRID, or Gay Related Immunity Disease

Also, how even the matching of homosexuality with AIDS was hateful, bigoted and homophobic, since, as the PC line went, we are all equally at risk and all in this together.

They knew from the very beginning that AIDS was a Homosexually-driven disease but have use Psycho-babble measures to keep society from stating the obvious and making the logical connection between the two.

It has taken them some 20-odd years for Homosexuals and their cheerleaders to arrive at an honest statement.

But they still will use the same techniques to silence criticism with respect to child sexual assault and other downsides of homosexuality.

Silencing the opposition is their Method of Operation..

At Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, a speech by Ryan Sorba, author of The Born Gay Hoax, was cut short when lesbian activists invaded and hijacked the meeting. ...  soon after Sorba began speaking about his book, some audience members started chanting slogans and pounding on pots and pans.
Shortly thereafter, a MassResistance witness said “people began to climb into the room through the windows, and a group stormed the podium and stood in front of it screaming and jumping up and down. Then dozens of people began running throughout the room and screaming, ‘We’re here, we’re queer, get used to it!”
