Now Foley Was Abused By a “Clergyman”

Jeez:
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Disgraced former Rep. Mark Foley (news, bio, voting record) said through his lawyer Tuesday that he was sexually abused by a clergyman as a teenager, but accepts full responsibility for sending salacious computer messages to teenage male pages.

Attorney David Roth said Foley was molested between ages 13 and 15 by a clergyman. He declined to identify the clergyman or the church, but Foley is Roman Catholic.

Victimhood II; the Sequel. This guy has had more success than nearly anyone on the planet and he’s got to play the victim card. First he tried to get out of trouble by checking himself into rehab and now it’s a “clergyman” that made him do it.

As far as perversions Foley’s was relatively mild. It’s not that he actually physically molested these kids. (That we know of). But why doesn’t he quit playing the victim and just go away?

Update: Captain Ed has his thoughts on this matter over on Captain Quarters. Mostly I'm linking to it because I like his title.

When He Tells Us He Got Abducted By Aliens, Call Me

Maybe it's even true, but who cares? He's fifty-four years old! If he had problems, it was incumbent on him to address them some other way than by engaging in cybersex masturbation sessions between votes in the House.

At least he’s not going after his accuser, like Clinton did.

I was listening to this on Fox News earlier.  I love how his lawyer phrased it: “Mr Foley does not blame the trauma from his adolescence for his inappropriate actions.”

Well if he doesn’t blame it, then why is his lawyer talking about it?

The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. But how is… legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish this law without delay … If such a law is not abolished immediately it will spread, multiply and develop into a system.

Setting up for a plea agreement.  He’s giving the DA “cover”.

Time for Foley’s--Bitch Slap
(noun):To open-handedly slap another, due to bitch qualities or tendencies.
If used correctly, the bitch slap should instill upon the victim a state of fear and cause laughter among those around you.
