North Dakota numbers
Numbers like 33 23 95 88 probably don’t mean much to you without an explanation. Those are some pretty interesting statistics for deer hunters and it’s nothing to do with success or number of tags for that matter. The corn harvest this week is at 33% complete. Last week it was 23%, it’s only be advancing about 10% each week the last month. Last year at this same time we were at 95% complete and the average is 88%. Which tells the tale that indeed, there is plenty of standing corn. Here’s a couple more numbers 15/19. My friend’s deer group has filled 15/19 tags. Not to shabby for 2.5 day’s of hunting. So to say hunting is tough as a blanket isn’t accurate. Some guy’s are finding and getting deer. Some may find deer and miss…others…are having a tough go of it.
