No Taxes In Islam

So says OBL, apparently in an attempt to endear himself to the small government fraternity. I bet if Americans converted to Islam that he’d just raise taxes anyway.

Two, mutually exclusive [irreconcilable] paradigms.

If fact, that’s the biggest problem with the Prez and the State department [and in fact most of the western world]. They are assessing [and minimizing] the islamic threat [yes, islamic- no qualifiers here]
from the perspective of a “western” mind.

There can “NEVER” be any compromise with these maniacs!!!

Putting the words “Islam” and “small govt” together is truly ridiculous.

If life doesn’t begin at conception, why do they call it birth control?

Robert alluded to what I was going to say.  In Islam the government is totalitarian.  They control the family, the businesses (what there are of them), and the church.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

TW: Absolutely.  Under Islam, the govt is everything, maybe even more than under communism.

Mike,

That is a pathetic attempt to draw paralells.  You’ll notice we conservatives don’t care what Bin Laden thinks about taxes nor does it cause us to sympathize with our sworn enemy… unlike the democrats.

It’s a pity that you conservatives appear to have lost completely your senses of humour and irony. You point out the obvious of course in that nobody with an ounce of sense would ever confuse bin Laden with a fiscal conservative but don’t you find OBL’s comment on taxes the least bit interesting and unusual?

I know the world is not unfolding as it should in your eyes and you’re probably feeling a little shell shocked but that’s no excuse for your pedestrian responses. C’ mon...live a little!
