Newt Gingrich Answers Obama

Earlier on C-SPAN 2 a talk by Newt Gingrich was given today.  It was classic Newt and Should be the platform for the Republican Party if we had any balls.

It won’t be.  We got McCain.  Listening to this made me long for the days of Contract with America.  Newt’s remedy for many of the ills in our country particularly among African Americans is clearly identified as a failure in culture.  Go Newtie.

Right on, Gene.  I’m a Democrat (soon to register independent) and heard most of Gingrich’s speech.  An excellent response to Obama (showed respect, acknowledged good points, not nasty about the points with which he disagreed).  I also liked his basic thesis: it IS culture, and his solutions were very promising.  This is what politicians (and the rest of us) should be talking about.  I encourage you Republicans to emulate the kind of honest and rational tone that Gingrich delivered.  (Gingrich for VP?)
