Mrs Slocombe Is Dead

Comedy actress Mollie Sugden, best known for her role as Betty Slocombe in the hit TV series Are You Being Served?, has died in hospital at the age of 86 after a long illness
She follows the much younger Wendy Richard who died in February of Cancer.
I have always enjoyed dry British wit and my favorite line from my favorite British television series, “Are You Being Served;” was when Mrs. Slocome, having to work late called her male neighbor, as she was concerned for her cat, and she told him to please go next door and look under her apartment door and if he could see her pussy, would he please throw a piece of fish at it!
Bon Voyage old girl, you and your fellow actors gave me a few really good laughs!
