moral: find elk locked…leave them alone

Given the same situation again, the two men now say they would have tried other means to help a distressed 6x6 bull elk that was in desperate need, after its antlers had become locked up with another 6x6 bull elk, which had already died.
Grill first noticed the pair of entangled elk at about 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Sept. 20, one mile northeast of his family’s home, located 10 miles northwest of Hot Springs along Argyle Road. The elk were near a junk pile which Grill had not visited in a few days.
