May 9, 2008!
So, what is your point? You just now figuring out that Russia has a big military parade in the beginning of May, every year?

So Sparkle Farkle, what’s it all mean? On Memorial Day weekend, shouldn’t a good American be commemorating the sacrifices of AMERICAN troops in the cause of liberty? A parade of Russian turd- burning tanks and obsolete missiles is meant to invoke what? Fear of a backwards corrupt shithole of a country? Awe of their fiscal mess?
Feh.

Russia has a big military parade in the beginning of May, every year?
Actually, its their first one in fifteen years. I think it highlights Russia’s nervousness and their inability to think beyond 1991. Go to the youtube page and look at the comments that Ruskie supporters have left.

Feh. Just posting something of current international interest. Perhaps you would prefer that certain goings on be censored or ignored? Feh.

Funny, May Day is a big event in Russia. Were all those parades non-government sanctioned?

OH!! I get it! It is the vehicles! The thousands of soldiers marching in review didn’t count. Got ya!

Nice Bald assertion. Provide a link, a video… or something… if you expect others to believe that you are right about the Russians doing this every year. All the media outlets have reported that this is the first military parade to celebrate the victory in WW2 since the early nineties. Make with the evidence or quiet down. Two comments, without a link, does not consolidate your opinion.

Its called M-A-Y D-A-Y. Perhaps you should find out something about it before proclaiming you infallible knowledge concerning it.

Nice try. MAY DAY is MAY 1st. This is May 9th. Keep coughing hairballs all over the thread though…
May 9th is Victory Day in Russia. I think they took Prague (Praha) in 1945 on that day.

Oh, yea! I get it now! Change the date and history disappears. Please to provide proof that parades in Red Square were stopped? I know a bit about that tradition, perhaps you think you know more?
Dance and spin all you wish.
And woofie! You are absolutely correct. May 9th and May 1st are 2 separate events. Now, for the bonus, why did Putin bring back the heavy metal component to both parades?

And why, again, is he worried about a system that will intercept medium range missiles?
