Making A Bad Situation Worse

Michael Shedlock tunes into Ben Bernanke talking mortages and doesn’t like what he hears. If we don’t let people learn from their mistakes then how can we expect the system to work?

Quite right, Mike, and this applies to so many areas.

In general, we need to let people be responsible for their own actions.  That means no laws protecting them from home foreclosure just as much as it means no laws protecting them from hamburgers.
