Left-Wing Bloggers Furious At Dems On FoxNews

Drudge and Politico are reporting that far-left bloggers are outraged by the recent appearances of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on FOXNEWS.

Adding insult to injury, Howard Dean, DNC Chairman, is scheduled to meet with Chris Wallace on the up-coming FOXNEWS SUNDAY.

Far-lefties like Markos Moulitsas, founder of DailyKos, whined that, “Democrats are being idiotic by appearing on that network.”

Roger Ailes, president of FOXNEWS fired back that, “More democrats watch FOXNEWS than watch CNN and MSNBC."

FOXNEWS has long been the target of left-wing hatred and was successfully boycotted last year in early democrat debates.

Mike Allen of Politico.com noted that, “The democratic leader’s new openness to FOX reflects the liberal left’s diminishing power. Once feared by democrats, these activists are now viewed as an impediment to winning...”

On a personal note, what I see here, on the part of all three presidential contenders, is a major effort to woo moderate voters in the middle. Bloggers on the left and the right have regularly complained that the candidates do not reflect their core values.

Yep.  Negotiate with Hamas, Al Qaeda and the Film Actors Guild but Foxnews is off limits!  Way too extreme!

I personally don’t use Foxnews.  They’ve gone away from text stories and seem to be nothing but fluff video.  I remember cussing the computer screen over CNN.  “Bin Laden” came out with a letter threatening all infidels.  I clicked the link which brought up VIDEO OF THE LETTER!

“Democrats are being idiotic by appearing on that network.”

That is, a network that people actually watch that might expose what Democrats actually believe!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

“More democrats watch FOXNEWS than watch CNN and MSNBC.”

Really? that’s interesting…

I can’t imagine any decent republican watching CNN and MSNBC on a constant basis, but to have more dems watch FOXnews than those two medias combined?!

Do you have any source for this?…

In comparison of FOX to the other two, I think FOXNews deserves it.  Their display is much more clear-cut and open to discussion.

"Here lies, in honored glory, an American soldier, known but to God.”

The stakes are high. Whether the issue is the economy, or energy, or the federal courts or national security, the right answers are coming not from the Democrats, but from the Republicans. The surge of operations that began a year ago is succeeding. The only way to lose this fight is to quit. Richard M. Cheney, Vice President, 30 May, 2008

Yes, Yes, I know…

I meant something that had numbers.  How many watch MSNBC and CNN.  What % are democrats?  What % of FOXNews viewers are republicans, democrats, independents?

Seems incredibly unlikely...I wonder what the correlation is that makes more DEMS watch FOXNews!

Eitherway, it would seem the MSM doesn’t have the upperhand entirely

We know a good comedy show when we see one, and Billow aways has some T&A.

Hubba hubba.

Ever look at fox numbers and compare them to network?

Lovely boob! Not even close to being on topic! I guess if you only have one study you think proves your point of view, you have to reference it all the time, whether it’s on topic or not!

The information you cite is 4 years old and is done unprofessionally.

Misperceptions are the viewers, not the media--that poll has been manipulated.
