Larry Craig, Trapped or Entrapped?

I have been pretty quiet about the whole Larry Craig Brouhaha. I don’t have a dog in that fight. I never knew who he was till this whole thing blew up.

Now I do.

I am somewhat disturbed by it all. I can’t tell you why. It’s like a bad movie. When the cops seem to be above board but something stinks. My skin crawls a bit. I think there may be more than meets the eye here.

First, let me say I am not a big fan of Minnesota and particularly Twin Cities law enforcement. I very much remember the child molestation charges leveled against some people who never did anything wrong in a daycare some years ago. That was typical Minnesota. There is a liberal self righteousness that exists that I am uncomfortable with. A witch hunt mentality among law enforcement people.

As I have watched this whole Larry Craig thing develop I’m no longer convinced he wasn’t entrapped. I have trolled the blogosphere and professional opinion for insight. There is no true consensus.

The Right Wing wants to show itself clean and perfect. They’re not. But that’s what they want to show.

I am as concerned over this whole thing as potential entrapment as I am over the sexual predator shows on NBC. I think something stinks about all that deal too. I want sexual predators in jail. I’m just not convinced we are catching predators but just stupid people entrapped by a clever scheme.

Color me sceptical.

Back to Larry Craig. I listened to and read his interview with the cop. I thought the cop was a bit overboard in his comments.

Here are several other opinions worth considering:

A guy who is convinced that this is all over but the shouting.

This guy thinks Crag was trapped in a sting operation and shouldn’t have been maybe.

This professor insists it’s NOT entrapment. My answer, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers like a duck I think you may have a duck on your hands.

This Woman insists it’s all hypocrisy and cultural drift
This College Girl thinks it’s kinda weird

The Best Take on all this in “Defense" of Larry Craig You really have to read this one.

Classical Values does a great review and linkology of the whole thing

Newsbusters (who I like) does a Why Do The Liberals Pile On review

I actually think the liberals on this one have been pretty evenhanded.

My real concern is what in the world are the Republicans thinking of in having the REP convention in The Twin Cities next summer? If I were a delegate I would hold it for the whole 5 days. You never know if the toe tapping sting squad is going to be watching.

How bout Sunny St. Charles? We promise not to ask or tell. Give up on MPLS/ST PAUL. They’re out to get you. On the other hand, if you come here, don’t tap your foot or wave your hand.

Comments

It was pretty obvious that the cop was trying to get his arrest. He said something like, “You just pay a fine and go on your merry way. I’m not one of those guys that goes to the press or anything like that.”

Then he went on to try to get Craig to say what he wanted him to say knowing that the “press” was going to be one of his major concerns. This is clearly manipulative. Cops are trained to do this. The press, of course, has hyped this way out of proportion and sold many ad spots.

There was a time when you could trust cops and the media to tell the truth. There was a time when you could expect your peers to have some guts and stick by you.

Next, a bunch of nuts will be coming out from their closets and saying that they were propositioned by
or had gay sex with Craig and the papers will take them at their word and blast the headlines and sell more ad spots.

This is as disgusting as the Duke fiasco was.

Even though he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, both the lefties and the MSM are playing this like he pleaded guilty to being gay.  In fact, the “juice” in this issue isn’t a conviction for a misdemeanor like disorderly conduct, it’s all about the inference(unproven) that he is gay, and that Republicans in general, and Craig in particular, does not have the right to be gay(even if he is).  It’s special rights for lefties, which is what they really want.  If it weren’t for the gay smear, this story wouldn’t even be news.  The real hypocrisy here is persecution for gay men who are Republicans, and approval for gay men who are lefties.  It’s the epitome of hypocrisy.
Knowing the political climate, Craig knew that even the accusation of being gay would ruin him, and so he pleaded down to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.  Even if he had demanded a trial and had been found not guilty, the smear still would have ruined him, and he knew it.

Apparently there have been rumours of this kind of behaviour following Sen. Craig for years.

robert108 on September 1, 2007 at 07:43 am

These were not rumors, he was arrested and pled guilty to a crime.

Craig’s career was not destroyed by the media, the police or the Left; Craig was behaving inappropriately, he was caught, arrested and pled guilty, so if the conservatives here were honest, they would have to say that Craig has to face the responsibility for his actions.

While anything is possible, including a conspiracy to destroy Craig over gay rumors, it seems that Craig has fueled the fires himself over time and now he must pay the price.

Neiman on September 1, 2007 at 08:27 am

...he was arrested and pled guilty to a crime.

The crime was disorderly conduct; the rumors were about his being gay.  They are two different things.  He is being ruined by rumormongering, not for disorderly conduct.

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 1, 2007 at 08:35 am

The rumours were vague and hard to confirm, so no mainstream media outlet published them.

But now we have every reason to believe that most of them were in fact, based in fact.

No one is out to destroy anyone—Sen. Craig brought this on by himself.

[Feet make good soup!]

Marty on September 1, 2007 at 09:44 am

But now we have every reason to believe that most of them were in fact, based in fact.  No, we don’t.  Unproved rumors remain unproved rumors, unless actual proof has surfaced, and it hasn’t.

No one is out to destroy anyone—Sen. Craig brought this on by himself.

Actually, you have it wrong.  The MSM is reporting this as everything from “lewd conduct” to “sexual solicitation”, when in fact he was convicted of disorderly conduct.  The gay smear is being used by the Dems as a political weapon.

So answer me this R108, there is a bathroom within a hundred or so feet of almost every gate at the Minneapolis.  Why did he on more than one occasion (in his words) continue to choose that bathroom, the one known for 41 arrests over the past 3-4 months; the bathroom know for men coming to get sex.

He pled guilty to disorderly conduct based on his solicitation of an undercover police office in a well known Minneapolis bathroom (known as a place for men to solicit men on men sexual contact)

Your constant use of the “gay smear” just goes to your own homophobia to deny what he was trying to do in the bathroom when he was arrested.

He pled guilty to disorderly conduct based on his solicitation of a police office using well known (to those with experience in this kind of sexual soliciting behavior) hand signals, toe tappiing and touching feet.

You are laughable to continue with this line of defense.

I’d still like to know why liberals like Puzzled are so outraged at the idea of gay men meeting one another in bathrooms.  How...intolerant.

Granted, we can all agree that people shouldn’t be having sex in bathrooms, but Larry Craig didn’t have sex in that bathroom.  Yet still Puzzled is carrying on as though he’s a criminal.

And maybe she does think it’s criminal to be gay...and a Republican.

You are laughable to continue with this line of defense.

It’s not a “line of defense”.  If he actually committed a sex crime, why did the police voluntarily and without a lawyer present, reduce the charge to disorderly conduct?  The Dems used gay smear against Mark Foley(who was not guilty of any crime), and now they are using it against Craig.  The Dem MSM is reporting this as either a “lewd conduct” arrest, or a “sexual solicitation” arrest, while failing to mention that he did not plead guilty to either charge, but to the very vague charge of “disorderly conduct”.  You can make up anything you want, but those are the facts.  This is gay smear, pure and simple.  It is you lefties who are “homophobic” when it comes to gay Republicans, or even Republicans who are accused of being gay.  Shame on you!  If it weren’t for the “gay” part, this wouldn’t be news.

Wing Nut Theory
I am a leftie and I am glad to see Craig gone, just not for this reason.
It sounds very much like entrapment. He should be gone for being a lying hypocrite.
The reason I am posting is to bring up the “wingnut theory” that the RNC has
over the years backed canidates which they could control because of blackmailable circumstances. Is it even statistically possible to have this many scandals from one group of people ? Vote our way,.... read White House...Rove.
Or we expose you.... Does this ring true to anyone here ?
This is not my position, I am just bring it up for discussion

james on September 1, 2007 at 02:12 pm

This is madness! Conservatives here are fighting for Craig with all their might, while they know they are wrong, they know Craig is guilty of much more than simple disorderly conduct, but they are driven by fear to defend a man that got caught with his pants down (No not literally) and he knew that he could not defend his actions, so he resigned.

If Craig could have mounted any sort of credible defense, he would not have resigned, he would still be fighting to defend his good name, his moral character and his core beliefs. He resigned because he knows that he cannot defend his actions and I assume because he knows a public defense will bring more accusers out of the woodwork until at last he would be forced out.

Sorry, I am a conservative, I liked Craig’s voting record and his moral convictions, I don’t desire any harm to come to this man; but he failed to live up to his own standards, as far too many of us likewise fail; but he is now going to have to face his demons in private and that is much better for him, conservatives and the Republican Party.

Lastly, I get a bit tired of The Say Anything Dear Leader‘s use of the homophobic charge against anyone, liberal or conservative that honestly feel Craig’s actions in a public restroom were unacceptable. Perhaps that is because our Dear Leader’s Christophobia and Alutheophobia are showing? The truth is: A person can even feel open to homosexual conduct and yet object to gay assignations in public restrooms wherein the public should have a reasonable expectation of elimination of bodily wastes without viewing such behavior.

Well actually not the gay part, Rob, just the republican part. /snark/

R108, Craig agreed to everything in the written police report.  He voluntarily, intelligently and knowingly signed off on the facts in the police report and plead guilty.

You still did not answer my question;

You can go on and on about the lefties and MSM and lewd conduct and sexual solicitation, but the fact remains that he agreed to the facts as stated by the police officer and in order to get the reduced charge of disorderly conduct he knowingly, voluntarily and intelligently agreed to it and pled guilty.

Puzzle,

Your sanctimonious drivel about the now-departed Larry Craig will be far, far more worthwhile the day after the resignations of Democrat William Jefferson and Democrat Allan Mullohan.

Even though it was part of a plea deal, Craig did indeed acknowledge his misdeed.  And for that modest bit of integrity he has paid quite a price.  But modest though it may have been, Craig’s voluntary and intelligent bit of integrity is still far more than we can expect of any corrupt Democrats.

What you are asking for is a basic change in human nature which ain’t going to happen.  Everybody even you and I have a dark side that we prefer to keep secret. i.e. the skeleton in the closet.  The expection of perfection is an idiots (or leftists) dream.

As far as candidates are concern, the best one can do is select the most honest of the bunch.  To my honesty measure, Bush qualifies, Clinton (either one) don’t.

With all sincere respect that I believe is due to you, it is to my mind rank obfuscation to bring in William Jefferson and Allan Mullohan or any Democrat ionto this debate. While I agree that the Democrats have far more than their share of criminals and perverts and I agree they not only defend but reward their low class, criminal, perverted colleagues; Craig’s behavior was criminal, immoral and a violation of his trust with his family and political supporters, and he needed to accept personal responsibility for his actions, including accepting the penalties for his behavior.

I assure you that if Craig had a scintilla of evidence that would be exculptory, he would have fought like a junk yard dog to stay in office, to defend his good name and the values he has promoted all his life. The fact that he accepted his fate and resigned is, if not evidence of guilt, at the very least suggestive that he knew he could not defend his actions.

Another lie from you.  If you listened to the tape, the officer browbeat and threatened him with sex crimes, and then voluntarily and without a lawyer present, offered disorderly conduct to “make it go away”.  He promised Craig that would be the end of it, and he lied.  Craig knew he would be demonized by the lefties just on the basis of the sex accusation, even if he won in court.  As it is, what he feared came true anyway.  He should have forced the officers to undergo cross-examination in court.

r108, he knew he could get an attorney at any time.  In fact at one point he told them he needed to get the information for his lawyer.  He voluntarily and knowingly chose not to engage an attorney.

You lie.  Go back and read what he signed.  It clearly acknowledges that he voluntarily, knowingly and intelligently knew what he was doing when he signed.

I know you need to be reminded but I don’t believe a single U.S. Senator on the democratic side said anything about his needing to resign.  I do however vividly recall your rightie buddies calling for him to resign.

A sex accusation?  Nah, he agreed to the facts as stated in the officer’s report and signed to that effect.  What planet are you living on?  You are suffering a very debilitating case of Craig Apologist Syndrome.  He could have gone to a bathroom right near his gate where he got off the plane or one near his next gate.  NO, he chose to use the one notorious for men on men sexual liaisons and used the hand signals typical of men crusing for sex in between flights.  Hm… How did he know all about this, R108? He knew the hand signals, where to go.

It’s time to give it a rest.  No one is buying what you and Craig are selling.

Puzzlefeet on September 1, 2007 at 08:05 pm

The cop knew some “hand signals”, that’s for sure.  Too bad they never took the stand to promote their version of things.  He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after being promised that it would all “go away” if he did.  I heard the tape.  Both you and the cop lied.

You want to make every excuse for Craig’s behavior from the MSM did it to him, to the cop did it to him, to the dems did it to him.  Quit whining, your guy knew exactly what he was doing, he “voluntarily, intelligently and knowingly” agreed to the plea and all the facts in the plea agreement.

Tim Graham said it best in NewsBusters today:

The people who manufacture the news in America are very persistent at writing the narrative exactly as it helps liberalism emerge victorious. On ethical scandals, they’re very good at making sure Republicans force theirs to resign, and they’re also very good at keeping Democrats shamelessly in power.

Couldn’t have said it better.  I am not defending either Larry Craig or homosexual cruising; I’m defending the right of someone accused(but not convicted) of a crime to get a fair exposition of what they actually did, rather than be smeared and destroyed by agendized reporting.  Every news report I have heard over the past few days has referred to Craig’s “arrest on lewd conduct charges”, but has failed to mention his real conviction on disorderly conduct charges.  It’s destruction by gay smear.  If he’s not gay, this is injustice of the highest order, and if he is gay, it’s hypocrisy of the highest order.  Even if he had obtained his day in court, or even had a lawyer present, the smear and destruction would have happened anyway.  The Dem smear machine is going full force to obtain power by any means.  They have no issues, and so have sunk to gay smear as a way to secure victory.  I hope the American people realize this, and throw them out.

Neiman,

Apparently you have missed the point of my comment.  For that I apologize.  But it is neither rank nor obfuscation to bring up the corruption of Jefferson and Mullohan.  Quite the contrary.  My point wasn’t corruption or immorality, but hypocrisy.  Particularly when my remarks were addressed to the most consistently sanctimonious partisan here, Puzzlefeet.

Craig’s behavior was undoubtedly immoral and admittedly criminal, and clearly a violation of his trust with both his family and his political supporters… although those supporters appear to dwindling in number at an alarming rate.  But the issue of trust is between Craig and his family, and his immorality is ultimately an issue between him and God.  So the only real question is one of his fitness to serve, and that question is now made moot by his resignation.

I am not defending Craig.  Nor do I see any point in castigating him either.  I am ably represented in the Senate by two fine gentlemen, Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson.  My point was the blatant hypocrisy of Puzzlefeet.  Nothing more and nothing less.

When Republicans misbehave or are found to be corrupt, Democrats howl with unwarranted self-righteous glee.  But when Democrats are discovered to have misbehaved and broken the law (Kennedys – pick one, Clinton, Torricelli, Grey Davis, John Kerry, etc.), or to have used their office to enrich themselves and their friends (Jefferson, Mullohan, Murtha, Diane Feinstein to name but a few) they are celebrated and idealized.  Your castigation of Craig, while impertinent, is at least warranted.  Those who celebrate their own scoundrels, however, have no business getting their tail feathers ruffled in faux indignation at the corruption and immorality of others.

Puzzle,

It is perfectly proper for Democrats to point to Craig’s hypocrisy… but only so long as y’all don’t then turn around and deny your own.

It’s actually a very tenuous tightrope walk for you...decrying Craig’s actions while steadfastly denying the immorality of those same actions.  Personally, I don’t think you’re intellectually up to the task.  You’re left with nothing more than his ill-advised guilty plea to misdemeanor charges on which to hang your argument.  And if that is in and of itself reason enough for him to leave public office, then certainly Democrats Ted and Patrick Kennedy have no business retaining their respective seats, do they.  True… voters have returned both to Washington, but that merely points up the fact that Republicans do indeed have moral standards by which we judge those who represent us, while Democrats clearly do not.

Bill Clinton IS a sexual predator, but while Craig is obviously in denial about his own sexual predilections, I don’t believe that anyone, you included, can make much of a case that he has forced himself on anyone else sexually, or that he otherwise preyed on others.

“Poverty of goods is easily cured; poverty of the mind is irreparable.”

… the right wing conspiracy…

Puzzle,

You continue to disappoint.  Badly.  Perhaps its age, or addled hormones.  I would have expected something a little more imaginative and forceful from a seasoned pro such as you, rather than this sort of tiresome liberal cliche.

Of course, you forgot the word “vast”, a key part of Hillary’s original little diatribe.  And “right wing” really should be one word, not two.  One could easily conclude that you meant that those of us to whom you were referring are “right” as in correct or proper or the opposite of wrong.  And while that is most certainly true, I hardly think its what you really intended.

In any case, cliches are bad form… even Hillary’s.  Do try to put a bit more effort into this, please.

Hillary should have divorced Bill Clinton long ago. BUT her political ambitions and his popularity among her voters are more important to her than her dignity. Politics make for some strange bedfellows. The Clintons are by far some of the strangest. I just don’t understand why the so called Womens Rights groups are SO fond of Bill Clinton, other than his abortion on demand stance??? It is really NOT about Women and protecting women. OR the Women, Left and Right, would put a stop to Bill Clinton and his shenanigans!

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 12:35 pm

ZZ, omigod, Paula Jones took a lie detector test on TV bought and paid for by the right wing whacks funded by Richard Mellon Scaife et al. When you demand a lie detector test from Rudy, Newt, Craig et al., then come back and let’s talk.

B1, tiresome liberal cliches, you all ought to know about cliches and hypocrisy.  You just can’t get enough of Clinton.  It absolutely bugs you that he still has high approval ratings. And when you start looking at others on this site who use “cliches” then I might pay attention to your calling me on it.

B1 writes:

but that merely points up the fact that Republicans do indeed have moral standards by which we judge those who represent us, while Democrats clearly do not.

Actually all it points out is that the Rs morality only comes into play when the governor of the state is of the same party as the offender.  Hence Craig OUT; Vitter IN.

So much for morality on your party’s part. It is selective depending on which party sits in the governor’s mansion.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 12:37 pm

Maybe Hillary actually believes in her marriage vows.  Perhaps the republicans, ZZ, you know, the party of family values, like marriage etc.  So now you fault her for staying married while people like Rudy, Newt, all have affairs, divorce their wives more than once and then want to hold the mantle of family values.  Give me a break!!

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 12:41 pm

Puzzle...I guess faulting Hillary for staying with him is really none of my business. I just believe she has an agenda.
Puzzle...You keep avoiding the fact that Bill Clinton is not ONLY an adulterer. BUT he has done NOTHING to clear his name of the several accusations of him being a sexual predator. Who cares who pays for the lie detector test? AND IF that is the problem? Let him pay for it! MAYBE???? It would clear his name???? ADULTERY is much different than being a SEXUAL PREDATOR. Don’t you think?

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 12:51 pm

Ok ZZ, Clinton is an adulterer.  It wouldn’t matter if he did clear his name, you all would find something wrong with how he did it, how he said it; that it was done for political purposes, etc…

Why haven’t you responded about Newt, Rudy, McCain et al about their adulterous ways?  Not a word, only your obsession with Clinton who isn’t even running for any office anymore.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 12:56 pm

IF I were falsely accused of a crime I did not commit? I would do Everything possible to disprove it. Larry Craigs crime and Bill Clintons crimes are completely different from one another…

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 12:59 pm

...Clinton who isn’t even running for any office anymore.--

Another leftie lie; this time, instead of Hillary riding on his coattails, he’s riding on hers.

Newt, Rudy and McCain didn’t do their business in the White House, on the public’s dime, as President of the United States.  See the difference.  More lying leftie attempts at equivalence when there is none.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:01 pm

ZZ, who falsely accused him of the crime, not a court, not a state’s attorney.  Oh, yeah it was the right wing.  Yeah, I’m gonna try and clear my name with them.  That is just laughable.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 01:03 pm

Maybe Hillary actually believes in her marriage vows.

Since you lefties want to use rumors to convict Craig of being gay(when all he is guilty of is disorderly conduct), why not convict Hillary on the persistent and long term rumors that she is gay?  Double standard?

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:03 pm

Hence Craig OUT; Vitter IN.

Wrong.  Craig out because of gay smear(even though he was only guilty of disorderly conduct); Vitter did a “minor Clinton”, so he’s OK.  The MSM is driving this.

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:05 pm

I don’t believe that anyone, you included, can make much of a case that he has forced himself on anyone else sexually, or that he otherwise preyed on others.

He didn’t even prey on the police officer who was trying to entrap him.

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:09 pm

Puzzle… Bill Clinton is not ONLY an ADULTERER, BUT a Sexual Predator! Newt and Rudy might very well be ADULTERERS. BUT they have Not been accused on several occasions of RAPE. Do you see the difference? AND Women need to examine this issue IF they are truly interested in Womens Rights and protecting Women… Family values are fine and dandy and IF Hillary feels inclined to keep her family together after the BS he has put on her? Good for her! Personally, IF Bill Clinton were my husband? He would be EX, out the door, toodleloo, bye bye!…

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 01:09 pm

ZZ, Clinton has never been charged with rape or investigated for rape.  No court or state’s attorney’s office or police department has done an investigation or charged him with anything.  Making allegations is one thing, taking them to the proper authorities and filing charges is another thing.

Part of women’s rights is not standing up for yourself and doing what’s right not because someone from the right wing conspiracy is funding you to do it.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 01:21 pm

Puzzle...IF you reeeally feel it is laughable? That is too bad. Because you are better than that! You can not fix a problem IF you are not willing to acknowlege there is a problem. Newt and Rudy are admitted adulterers. Neither men have EVER been accused of RAPE, that I know of. Bill Clinton on the other hand. Well his record speaks for itself… IF you refuse to see the difference? I can’t force you. BUT even a blind person could see Bill Clinton has issues. Adultery is a sin and Rape is a crime.

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 01:28 pm

Wanita, Paula, and Ms. Willey all were “Friends of Bill” at one point. Where there is smoke? There is usually a fire.

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 01:34 pm

Making allegations is one thing, taking them to the proper authorities and filing charges is another
thing.

Is that why Craig was alleged to be soliciting sex, but only disorderly conduct was the result?  You make my point; the vast leftwing smear machine is working overtime, trying to cover up Hillary’s criminal activities.

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:40 pm

Again, ZZ, you did not answer the question, why wasn’t there a report or a charge against Clinton.  Who was behind those charges?  Come on ZZ you’re better than that!

R108, “a minor Clinton”.  You are too too funny! Craig pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct based on his conduct in a bathroom in a MPLS airport.  Why are you steadfastly refusing to answer the question I have put to you many many times here?  Once again, why did Craig go to that specific bathroom.  There is a bathroom close to his departure gate and close to his arrival gate.  Why that bathroom?

Once again, you refuse to admit that Craig admitted to the facts as written by the police officer after almost two months of the arrest.

Hillary gay?  Whose rumors?  from you righties?  Let me know when she gets arrested in a bathroom in an airport know for men cruising for sex.  Then let’s talk.  No double standard at all.  You are now grasping at straws.  You are absolutely beside yourself that Craig pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and that was his conduct in a bathroom known for men crusing for male sex.  He admitted to the facts knowingly, intelligently and voluntarily agreed to the plea of disorderly conduct.

Good Luck catching Hillary soliciting sex in a bathroom at the Minneapolis airport, R108 and pleading guilty to disorderly conduct.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 01:44 pm

The ironic thing is the DEMS are the ones who voted for all the Laws against sexual harrassmnet in the work place. AND yet the Dems refusal to recognize and protect these very women who dare accuse Bill Clinton of these crimes is quite sick! The blinders go on and spin spin spin away any evidence or truth! I feel very sorry for Women who actually believe the dems are about “Womens Rights”.

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 01:46 pm

Puzzle...There certainly was a report Kathline Willie, Wanita B and Paula Jones all reported abuse. Despite your willingness to disbelieve Bill Clinton is an accused sexual predator. Like it or not he lied about Monica Lewinsky during the Paula Jones trial. He is a liar. He was not only an adulterer but he was the President of the USA getting Oral Sex in the White House, by a White House intern. Yes boss!

Zsa Zsa on September 2, 2007 at 01:55 pm

Once again, why did Craig go to that specific
bathroom.

If you want to satisfy your sick obsession with why a guy went to a bathroom, why not ask him?

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:55 pm

Yes boss!

He also suborned perjury by instructing Monica how to lie at the trial.  Just a bit more than disorderly conduct.

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 01:59 pm

Poor Poor r108, trying to defend Craig when the guy already plead guilty.  He agreed to the facts and signed onto them and you continue to deny what he was doing in the bathroom.  Keep drinking the koolaid.

Puzzlefeet on September 2, 2007 at 02:08 pm

Poor Poor r108, trying to defend Craig when the guy already plead guilty.

To disorderly conduct, not the gay smear you leftie homophobes are trying to use.  Face the facts; the vast leftwing smear machine is behind this one.  Did you ask him about why he went to that bathroom yet?
A more interesting question is: Why did the cops, voluntarily and without a lawyer present, reduce their original allegation to disorderly conduct?  If they really had the evidence for anything more, why not take him to court?  Maybe they settled for what they could pin on him.  They fattened their arrest record, and avoided the embarrassment of being torn apart on the stand in court.

Maybe Hillary actually believes in her marriage vows.

You are so funny, puz, I can’t stop laughing.  If your heros are the Clintons you’re mentally in trouble.  At the moment, it is politically convenient for Hillary to keep Bill around.  Otherwise, I believe it would be sayonara Billy boy.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

Sparkie Arbuckle on September 2, 2007 at 03:11 pm

Well, Sparkie, unlike the majority of lefties, you are at least honest in your use of gay smear.  Of course, it was only disorderly conduct, but the truth really doesn’t matter to you, does it?

Save America; boycott the MSM.

robert108 on September 2, 2007 at 03:17 pm

r108
partial truth or ‘dialectical sensitivity’ of copius quantity is needed for your semiotics move. some might refer to it as putting your fingers in your ears and yelling LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-I-CANT-HEAR-YOU. ‘disorderly conduct’ is the legal umbrella that soliciting male gigalos in the airport bathroom falls under, so if you want to call it that go for it - if you are getting milage out of your deconstructivist semiotics, have at it! marx would be proud!

Sparkie Arbuckle on September 2, 2007 at 03:23 pm

No, Sparkie; if they could have convicted on any sex charge, I’m sure they would have.  Instead, the MSM is spinning disorderly conduct(which covers almost any behavior the cops don’t like) into a gay smear.  That tiny amount of respect I had for you has vanished with this comment of yours.

What I don’t understand is the appeal the Clinton’s have??? I am sure there are alot of other Liberals interested in embracing the Socialist commie way of running the Gov. Surely there are others out there who are not accused of Rape???
