Coke has been very aggressive in buying out local borrowers.  It seems that they may have over leveraged themselves.

The other thing is they have a large fleet of trucks.  With the price of fuel they’re bound to be squeezed.  On the other hand, it’s a very competitive industry and it’s difficult for them to raise prices.

That’s hardly a bad thing.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

True, but there’s probably other factors there as well.  They’re leveraging has probably made them more vulnerable to downturns.  At the same time they had the sales drop their fuels costs are skyrocketing.
