Iran Wins War Against U.S. Paper Tiger

Ahmadinejad says West failed in Iran nuclear crisis

Isn’t he right?

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday the West has failed to break Iran’s will in the nuclear standoff, days after world powers presented Tehran with a new offer aimed at ending the crisis.

“In the nuclear issue, the bullying powers have used up all their capabilities but could not break the will of the Iranian nation,” Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by state television.

World powers—Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States—on Saturday offered Tehran a new package of technological and economic incentives in exchange for suspending uranium enrichment activities.

The West fears the process might be used to make an atomic bomb although Iran insists it only wants to generate nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

Ahmadinejad’s comments were his first statement on the nuclear crisis since the offer was presented but it was not clear if they represented a reaction to the proposal.

What can we do now? McCain won’t stand up to Democrats to resist Iran and Iran knows it! Obama promises to negotiate and Iran knows that means appeasement. We are getting out of Iraq, leaving it under the influence of Iran.

Haven’t we become a paper tiger and no one fears us any more, not even economic sanctions, certainly not to get anyone to stand tough with us against them, and absolutely no military action against Iran? Sounds like he won to me!

He hasn’t yet heard from Israel. Having over the past 45 or so years seen how seriously the Israelis treat warfare, they’re the only nation I would worry about finding ours at odds with on the battlefield.

That always reminds me of the joke: An Arab Army was crossing the desert when they were shot at from a sand dune by an Israeli soldier. The General sent a squad to deal with it, they were all killed. Then he sent a platoon, same result. Then a company, again no survivors. Then a battalion and after much shooting an Arab soldier came stumbling back, near death, he shouted “It’s a trap! It’s a trap! There are two of them!

No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.

Neiman, if you look at history, it’s not so much of a joke as it it a fact. Our military personnel are professionals who train daily and hope to never have to put the training to use. The Israelis train just as vigorously knowing that at some time one of their neighbors WILL make them use it.

Yes, and their army is almost all of their people.  But one would expect that from people that are fighting for their existence.

I think it is a given that before Iran has operational nukes, Israel will make a pre-emptive strike like they recently did in Syria.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.
