I’M PAYING FOR MY NEIGHBORS MORTGAGE

My neighbor is a lot smarter than I am. I saved and paid 20% down three homes ago and am finally in my wife’s dream home that we owe about 5 years more of payments on. We’ll have it paid off just in time for retirement.

My neighbor bought his first home in our neighborhood with 3% down. Right away he hired a landscaper to tend his grounds so he could take Hawaiian Vacations and have the time to enjoy his new 4 wheel drive pick up, ATV’s and Harley that he bought with a big home equity loan. He waved to me all the time when he drove by while I mowed my grass.

Now that the economy is not so hot he’s been around a lot more because he lost his job. He has his toys out with for sale signs on them, too. His wife came over and told my wife that they had been foreclosed, but the stimulus would bail them out. Apparently, they also have several credit cards that are maxed out and they aren’t making the payments on those either. Now they plan to get a stimulus grant to pay off their credit cards.

The really good news is that they have also been cheating on their taxes for several years. Now they don’t have anything to worry about because he has been asked to be on Obama’s cabinet.
