Illegal Amnesty - Time To Call Your Reps

We need to start calling our representatives and senators (the other representative) about this:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Republicans and Democrats struggled Wednesday over the final details of an elusive deal that would grant quick legal status to millions of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. and fortify the border with Mexico.

They’re trying to get an amnesty plan through congress and it needs to stop.  I called my congresspeople and told them to 1. enforce the borders and 2. enforce the existing laws.

I’m not sure they listened to me though… maybe if all of you did that too?!?

I have a fairly simple question: What is the point of making laws if you just turn around and forget about them when lots of people break them? Doesn’t that undermine the very act of making laws? Lot’s of people smoke marijuana, but it hasn’t led to the legalization of weed. They are doing this because the govvy can’t make money off these people. The fed can gobble lots of money from punishing people with joints, so its illegal. That way our beloved politicians can feel important by having more of our money to manage, squander, or give away to their buddies vis a vis creative means. I hope that the minimum wage goes out the window. I’m of the opinion that closed borders are consistent with a minimum wage, but open borders or mass-naturalization are not. Maybe this is a trick to bust mad people.

I would be willing to bet that Team ND will put their finger to the wind, test the view of the ND public and base their decision on this. Ironically this happened during the Scalito nomination.

Wow Sparkie, I usually can read Jive… but I don’t see the correlation of border security to government interference with a private contract…

I get your point on the pillaging of pot smokers.  But, expand that…

50% tax on Gasoline… yet the politicians (who could lower the price of gas) charge that the oil companies are gouging us.

They suck.  We need to start over again.

(not really—as much as I’d like to see a fresh government, the chaos might not be worth it.)

Too many do just that Goon.  I like that they listen to my phone calls, but I’d rather that they just make the correct decision without me having to call them…

With consistent overwhelming majorities against illegal immigration, with a just as consistent non-enforcement of immigration laws, employment laws and tax laws against the illegals and those who hire them, tells us that --- at least in part—we have a Shadow Government.

They will do what the hell they want to do, the will of the people be damned.

At times like this there is something to be said for guillotine justice.

Ça Ira!

...for great justice
