I Say Player Of The Week ~ Phil Dawson

How can anyone disagree this is not only the play of the week but Phil Dawson has skill and CLASS deserving of Player of the Week. What a true role model of good sportsmanship. Many other players would have shown the typical I deserve everything tantrum… but Dawson showed class and waited it out.
The video clip tells all..

I saw it right away.  I don’t know what those blind zebras right under the goal posts were looking at.

LOL, Proof… you’re so right! Although, I couldn’t tell the call at first.. the first thing I noticed was the refs looked like they weren’t even watching. Perhaps, it’s just a bad angle to view refs but it looked ridiculous!

Thanks for posting this.  I heard about it at work today, but didn’t see it during the game (Sure, I live in the OH, but who watches the Browns?).

“Hope is not a method.” - Common Military Saying

The above is a statement of pro activity.  If any Soldier were to tell me that he hoped what he was briefing was going to come to fruition, that would be unacceptable.  We in the Army do not have the luxury to ‘hope’ that things will end well.  Hope will get us killed.  Instead, we must plan and take action.  Hope is not a method.

As a leader I can never ‘hope’ that my Soldiers have the proper training.  I can never ‘hope’ that my Soldiers have the proper logistical supplies.  I can never ‘hope’ that my Soldiers will survive the next mission.  Hope is not a method; I live in the real world.
