I Don’t have all the answers and apparently neither does anyone else

I am a lifetime observer of the market, pretty free market enthusiast.  Consider myself a minor expert on economics.  I have been an advocate of letting the marketplace work things out.

Anti Bailouts.

Citi included.

But, I know how to listen carefully to smart people.  I have watched and listened to the exchange between Cavuto and Stein.
Here’s the problem, I respect both of them as bright people.  People with deep expertise on marketplace economics.

Yet they disagree profoundly.  It’s not about right or left.  They are both on the right.

I am puzzled and admit it.

Then I heard Glen Beck this morning on Fox and Friends.  His pronouncement on the economy was so dire I was shocked.  His evaluation is profoundly pessimistic.

Am I missing something?  Does anyone really know anything.  How can all people I respect be so completely divergent in opinion?  Is everything I know wrong?

There will come a time when we will know how this all comes out.  We will know who was right.

It will be too late to do anything about it.
