It Was Already The Hannity Show!

Don’t you think that Colmes reminds us of our poor, old, weasley, and quiet Letterman?  And doesn’t Hannity remind you of the loud, impending, down-your-throat Bill O’Reilly?

Sidenote: before anyone attacks, I love Bill O’Reilly.

They are lesser versions of their more-successfull archetypes in the business.

I don’t question Colmes for leaving, but really praise a man who made that difference by crossing over and being in FNC.  Although FNC may not be “conservative”, it is to the liberals.  He, in many minds, had taken camp in the heart of enemy territory; quite noble, in my mind.  It is what separates him from Letterman, Hannity, but not so much O’Reilly.

I praise not one party over the other, but praise only an instance of what I think are good moral practices in politics.

Colmes should be remembered for his bipartisanship, because he certainly won’t be remembered for much else, the quiet fool! (...Hahahaha).  It is the general idea that this soft-spoken man did not (or could not) do much for his party, but I think he has done something for the cause of bipartisanship.

Goodbye Colmes.
