Hagel Says McClellan’s Book ‘Right On’

Sen. Chuck Hagel said Scott McClellan’s new book is right on.

McClellan is the former press secretary for President George W. Bush.

His new book is critical of the Bush Administration and its tactics leading up to the Iraq war.

"These are things I've been talking about for some time now and in some cases I have been reviled and ridiculed by my own party for even suggesting such things," Hagel said.

"I saw this. I was just one of the few that said something about it.”

Opponents of McClellan’s take say that he is a disgruntled outsider who didn’t really know what was going on.

But Hagel said no one was more of an insider than McClellan.

He said McClellan had to sell the Iraq war to the media and knew exactly how things were playing out behind the scenes.

Why did Scot not quit in protest of all these lies and deceptions? Why was he fired? And why has he done a 180 only after his mother was so embarrassingly defeated in her political ambition? Got some snappy answers there, realitydenyingboob?

Does anybody seriously think Chuck Hagel has actually read the Scott McClellan book?

Didn’t think so.
