As a liberal myself, I believe that, while a person’s religion is not in and of itself relevant during an election, it is relevant if it informs a person’s policy.  Just look at George W.

But once again, I would encourage both sides to stop the personal attacks and smears and instead attack an smear their opponents on the issues and other such things that are pertinent to governing a nation.

Are you saying you don’t care about Obama’s religious beliefs?  You blog about them all the time.
