Regular eggs ‘no harm to health’
Well, well. Another lie exposed, one perpetrated by the Surgeon General and CDC since the early 1970s. Lets us look a bit deeper, shall we?
“There is cholesterol present in eggs but this does not usually make a great contribution to your level of blood cholesterol.” But, but, but, the government says eggs are BAD. The government wouldn’t lie!
“The ingrained misconception linking egg consumption to high blood cholesterol and heart disease must be corrected.”
Now, who began this “misconception”? Who was the primary source of this lie? Researchers funded by the USG, thats who. The government paid for it, and they got exactly what they told the “researchers” they wanted. And they got it in spades. When government pays for research, you give it the results it tells you to, or you don’t get anymore government money.
And these are the same people who have been lying about the “environment”, who continually screech that man is destroying the world.
And now, with the “stimulus” bill, they are taking control of your healthcare. Government will decide what treatment and pharmaceuticals you receive, not your doctor. Government says it will ration healthcare to senior citizens. You will simply have to accept that you are going to die, because the “State” will decide when your “usefulness” is at an end and you no longer deserve healthcare.
And spare us your screeching&caterwauling, leftards, read Tom Daschle’s book on modern healthcare “reform”. That is what you are going to get.
And one last nugget from “government”,“In 2007 the Egg Information Service was banned from re-running a television commercial from the 1950s which urged viewers to “go to work on an egg” to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre said the slogan went against the principle of eating a varied diet.” Not only lying about the health effects of eggs, they cover their lie with a further obfuscation. And 48% of Americans want scumbags like these cousins of ours to run their healthcare. What a bunch of morons.
