G-8 Leaders Pledge to Cut Greenhouse Gas by half before 2050

This headline is crazy.

As a Christian I have only one question, “What the hell are they thinking about”.

Cutting greenhouse gasses in half by 2050 means you have to kill off the human race pretty much. This is insanity.

Then this morning the light bulb went on.  This is about conserving fuel.

They (world leaders) have come to the conclusion that taxing and encouraging people to use less fuel won’t work. So, they have to inject fear into the world’s population to believe a lie.

This is discouraging and transparent.

And sad for the world.

So that cuts water vapor, methane, CO2 and other greenhouse gases by 50%.

Wow that’s quite an undertaking.

On a serious note these jerks are only promising that because by 2050 they’ll be dead and gone.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I’m sorry! You misread that! It’s cut greenhouse gas in half before 20:50! Which means you still have about ten and a half hours to comply!

Barack Obama: All hat and no cattle since 1997!

Um, it’s 9:22 here.  Better get cracking.

Oh, shoot, I had chili for lunch....Whistler, you’d better cut your emissions by 100% to compensate for me!

I always love it when politicians ignore the engineers who tell them that it would be impossible without impoverishing or killing off large numbers of people.  Nope, they’ve got a news cycle, so get lost with all that “Carnot efficiency” BS, engineer!

Volcanos, what they going to do about valcanos.  I suggest that we take G8 and all the other global warming fruitcakes and stuff them in the vents.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

Don’t you guys read other than conservative papers or watch TV?
As usual, what the writer did not say was that this was a non-binding agreement made to pacify environmentalists. Each country would deal with the issue of greenhouse gases in their own way. If you don’t believe me go to the CNN web site and you can get the full story.

Watashiwa, if it’s truly nonbinding, and not just “nonbinding for rhetorical purposes,” why even bother with the statement?  Reality is here that though they’re not saying exactly HOW they intend to do this, they have all committed to standards that could bankrupt their own countries.

Pretty darned scary, if you ask me.
