Former GOP Chief Pleads Guilty To Deviant Conduct

Glenn Murphy Jr. had a top spot in local Republican politics and was making a name for himself as president of the Young Republicans National Federation. But after a Young Republicans get-together last July, a young man claimed Murphy made a bold sexual advance on him.

Police reports said Murphy shared a bunk bed with his victim, a 22-year-old who had had too much to drink, and the next morning the victim said he awoke to find Murphy performing a sex act on him. The victim said he told Murphy to stop and pushed him away.

Prosecutor Stanley Levco said other incidents involving Murphy would have been presented as evidence had the case gone to trial. A Clarksville police report shows Murphy was involved in a similar incident in 1988, but no charges were filed.

Levco said he thinks that may have been another reason Murphy pleaded guilty as charged.

Criminal deviate conduct is a Class B felony in Indiana. If the judge accepts his plea, Murphy will have to register as a sex offender. Sentencing is set for June 30.

Murphy resigned his political posts when the allegations surfaced.

This goes to show us why we shouldn’t allow homosexuals into any leadership position.  They will only use it to push illicit sexual advances.

Let’s go back to my point, before bob started deflecting:

Great minds discuss ideas.
Average minds discuss events.
Small and mediocre minds discuss whatever rbb finds interesting!

Which is an homage to the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, who said that “Small minds discuss people.”
Look at the themes that rbb constantly harps on! He points out individuals who have fallen short of the mark who are Republicans, and then he falsely tries to make it into some larger trend, which he can only do while ignoring the same or worse actions by Democrats.
He discusses people not ideas.
Rather than admit he would rather discuss people than ideas, he blindsides me with a quote, out of context from a thread of puns from two months earlier. I did not recall it and the language is uncharacteristic of anything I would say in a serious context.
bob has on more than one occasion tried to use jokes, or puns as if it were my substantive commentary. The majority of bob’s substantive commentary (if you can call it that) is about people, not ideas. Or meaningless photos.

I made a mistake about the one time bob told the truth. Perhaps if he did it more often, or put truthful remarks in context for a change, they would be more easily recognized! Mea culpa!

You still have not apologised? Wow!

ellinas on June 13, 2008 at 08:24 pm

First off, I love it that RBB has publicly acknowledged homosexual behavior as deviant.

Now if he can only similarly condemn the Barny Frank wing of the DNC and the Brokedick Mountain contingent of Hollywood DNC backers as deviant as well, we will have made some progress.

Second, I simply cannot understand homosexuals.

If, perhaps, the finest examples of womankind were Hillary Clinton and Rosanne Barr, I might have an inkling.  But as long as women look like this, it continues to be a mystery.

Nor can I understand homosexuals being involved in the Republican Party, since the Republican Party is supposedly the haven for those who believe in Middle American Values, sanctity of the family, Biblical values and so-forth, whereas the Dims ‘celebrate’ homosexual sodomy and female-based carpet-munching under the camouflage term of diversity.

Homosexuals, unless they are former homosexuals trying to get straight with their lives, really shouldn’t be in the GOP/RNC.  It’s a massive conflict of interest.  Log Cabin Republicans only serve to infiltrate and muddle the message the GOP/RNC puts out, and defeat the interests of GOP/RNC voters.

Out, out damn spots!
.. get thee to the DNC, where they will welcome you with open....

well..

you know.

Jack,

Most in this group know about my policy of not even addressing Leftists and particularly Leftist trolls.  I just don’t have the time.

In this one instance I’ll make an exception.

First with regard to homosexuals, there is no fear, just disgust.  The downfall of civilizations throughout the ages have been presaged with the open acceptance of homosexuality.

Even if the moral aspect is completely ignored, as I have pointed out numerous times, homosexuals are still by far leading vector of the deadly HIV/AIDs virus.

Number of cured thus far?  Zero.

I don’t think that the best hairstyling, floral arranging, dress design or Hollywood acting can justify the clear and present danger their behavior presents to the rest of society.

Not only is the blood supply threatened, organ and tissue donation, basic medical and dental procedures and many other aspects of human interaction have been made potentially fatal by their anal hijinks.

So get the lingo correct… disgust, not fear.

I’m sorry, but that’s just as stupid troll question.
I know what my definition of a conservative is, and it doesn’t include either global warming socialist mythology or class-envy economics, as I have said repeatedly.  Why are you on your high horse today, lecturing to those of us who are proud of our conservatism?  Personal invalidation isn’t an effective debating technique with thinking people.

Move_Zig on June 14, 2008 at 06:52 pm

Damn, Zig!  Do you own the definition of leftist too!! ??

Wonder if it fits with mine?

Leftists believes that the Constitution was good for it’s time, albeit written by and for the land-owning class.  Today, it is hoplessly outdated and even anti-democratic.

Leftists believe that today the constitution should be used as a “living, breathing” frame of reference upon which they can rely from time to time, or interpret in the comfortable light of moral-relativism.  They approve of and encourage the selection of justices and judges who share this view.

Leftists believe that ordinary citizens, left to their own devices, always do the wrong thing - usually for selfish reasons - and that government’s job is to control that unfortunate tendancy.  For them, individualism is a dangerous thing.

Leftists believe that government should take care of people; provide for their welfare, regulate their faults and create equality of outcomes. Corporations cannot be trusted to do these things because their motive is profit.

Leftists believe that - unlike conservatives - they have a unique ‘world-view’ and understand the need to shape and subvert our culture to better fit the “Brotherhood Of Man”.  Sharing and sacrifice are virtues; ownership and profit are vices.  And, of course, a strong military will be offensive and threatening to others.

Leftist believe that the federal government - and particularly the courts - provides them with a unique opportunity to get around the individual and the States and thus impose their will on the entire nation.  Of course, they have to be elected in large enough numbers to make that happen.

More than anything, leftists rely on intuitive feelings which they value over objective reality on every issue and at every point.  It is a noble thing to ‘feel’ the pain of animals and a high ideal to ‘care’ for ‘Mother Earth’.  Doing so makes them feel good.

I could go on and on, but you get the point.

Are we anywhere near agreement so far?

pparets on June 14, 2008 at 07:05 pm

pp: All good points, but I think lefties can be summed up as those who believe in the collective over the individual, who believe that “self-sacrifice” is better than self-interest, and who would rather follow an ideology than develop their own principles.
