Foley Again

Who ya gonna call: Newsbusters!

You have to hand it to the liberal media. The American government is prosecuting its first treason case in 50 years, but the press has managed to maintain its focus on more important issues. You know, like the Mark Foley email scandal. Such dedication in the face of silly distractions is truly admirable.

Reuters reporter James Vicini took a stand for truth in his article about the Adam Gadahn:

Justice Department officials denied the case was timed to deflect attention from the fallout over lewd computer messages sent by a former Republican congressman to young male aides, a scandal that may help Democrats seize control of Congress in the November 7 elections.

Aside from the moonbats I haven’t found anyone that cares about the Foley Follies.

I thought this was pretty interesting if we’re talking about Foley media bias.

In the first twelve days of the Foley scandal there were some 115 stories written about it.  In the first year of the Mel Reynolds thing there were just over a dozen.

Nice double standard, no?

The media double standard is so blatant it’s a wonder they try to keep it covered up.

Look at the rating slides that the Big 3 networks and the circulation slides the big newspapers are seeing.  It’s amazing that there’s no adults there that are telling them to quit driving away HALF OF THE CUSTOMERS.

It’s one thing to have your politics, but when it compromises your integrity and your business it’s time to reassess.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler,

Yes, that would be the rational thing for adults to do. These peopel, however, will sit back and blame everyone else. It’s the right’s fault, it’s the fault of the unsophisticated American peasant classes who can’t understand their sacred message, etc.

A fine example of that is conservative talk radio. Or Fox news, even. The left comes up with every excuse as to why those two media outlets blow every liberal attempt at competition out of the water. They won’t or can’t admit that the vast majority of the American public just don’t follow the liberal mantra. In fact, most people think they’re full of crap.

You’ll never get the left to understand that though. They think we’re all just a bunch of stupid knucle-draggers who just don’t get it.

I actually not sure how “right wing” Fox actually is.

I just think that when the rest of the media is sitting out in the left field bleachers everything is to the right of them.
