Flipper John: Change You Can Laugh At

John “let’s accuse Obama for being ambitious” McCain 8/18/2008:

“Behind all of these claims and positions by Senator Obama lies the ambition to be president.”

John “the ambitious” McCain 2002:

“I didn’t decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of patriotism. In truth, I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to be president. . . . In truth, I’d had the ambition for a long time.

What was wrong with Kerry again?  I forget why the Right wanted us to hate him.

The right hates windsurfing.

...and body surfing and eating “snow-cones”.  However they like more educational things, the story of “My Pet Goat”.

What was wrong with Kerry again?

The fatuous fraud of his Vietnam service, his missing original discharge order and the 113 other unreleased pages of his military record, his largely unreported involvement in the VVAW Kansas City plot to assassinate government leaders including Kissinger, Stennis, and Russell, his illegal contacts with representatives of the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese communists, his twenty plus year record of non-accomplishment in the Senate, and his godawful parade-horse mentality all aside, start here.

I forget why the Right wanted us to hate him.

Another hopelessly childish comment, H.  It wasn’t a matter of “hate” at all.  That’s your department on the Left.  We just wanted to make sure that John Kerry didn’t become Commander-in-Chief.

And he didn’t!

The fatuous fraud of his Vietnam service,

Was his entire service record a fraud in your mind?

...his largely unreported involvement in the VVAW Kansas City plot to assassinate government leaders including Kissinger, and Russell, his illegal /quote]

Oooooh, I see.

his illegal contacts with representatives of the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese communists,

So in your mind, he was a lier about his record as a war hero, a traitor and an involved assassin of US leaders, but you didn’t hate him?

Gee, you are rather forgiving Bat.  I mean, if the guy was all that, why wouldn’t you work to have him removed from the Senate?

If I believed that, I would.

Do you look up to McCain’s motives as displayed by his own reason for running for President, Bat?

H,

What I’ve said about Kerry and the Swift Boat Vets is all well established, well documented fact.  I’ve posted on the subject several times, in copious detail, over the past few years, and quite frankly the whole thing bores me any more.

Unless you think you can disprove what I’ve said about Kerry, or unless Obama foolishly selects Kerry as his running mate, its a dead issue as far as I’m concerned.  As for his Senate career, he has accomplished nothing of substance and nothing noteworthy in his 24 years there, but that’’s really between him and the people of Massachusetts.  Since he doesn’t do anything on those rare occasions when he is there, its hardly likely that anything he does will effect me one way or the other.
