First ‘Big Bang’ test a success

GENEVA — The world’s largest particle collider successfully completed its first major test by firing a beam of protons around a 17-mile underground ring today in what scientists hope is the next great step to understanding the makeup of the universe.

After a series of trial runs, two white dots flashed on a computer screen at 10:36 a.m. indicating that the protons had traveled the full length of the $3.8 billion Large Hadron Collider.

“There it is,” project leader Lyn Evans said when the beam completed its lap.

Champagne corks popped in labs as far away as Chicago, where contributing scientists watched the proceedings by satellite.

Here is the problem and why I reject modern science as being nothing more or less than a secular humanist religion, with scientists as prophets and disciples and nothing more: They are starting from the premise, the hypothesis that, all life started with a Big Bang; and then they build this costly particle collider not to investigate how life might have actually began, but to prove the Big Bang as the only possible explanation. Now what are the odds that their biased research will produce exactly the results they have postulated? Right! 100%!

This is not science, it is a costly effort to prove a naturalistic causation for all life and disprove any Divine Origin. Which by the way they cannot absolutely prove in either case. But, seeking the Truth wherever it leads is no longer the objective of science, it is only the advancement of a secular humanistic religion at any cost.
