Europeans React to Shooting -French Surrender!

If any comic relief is to be found in this tragic event, it will be found in the reaction of our European friends…

In America, “buying a machine gun is often easier than getting a driver’s license.”
That’s right! Must be at least a couple of hundred million machine guns in America?

German cable news broadcaster NTV flashed an image of the former head of the National Rifle Association, the US gun lobby: In other words, blame rifle-wielding Charlton Heston for the 33 dead.
Damn dirty apes!

Charlton Heston is indirectly responsible

No one should be confused or shocked they left is all for taking our guns away, they believe that there is no right to own fire arms. This is what is going to happen if they get the presidencey and both houses they will stuff the court with liberal judges that will advocate taking away fire arms.

BTW: I know an individual who legally owns fully automatic (true) machine guns. He even let me shoot one of them!  I’ve also seen a few of the forms he has to file with the government to maintain his federal license, take his gun to a gunsmith, etc. It makes the DMV look like a 1960’s free love fest!

And lest you conjure up an image of “Rambo”, my friend is a soft spoken accountant, who likes to collect and shoot firearms. I don’t think he’d hurt a fly, but I wouldn’t go to his house at night unannounced!

Because folks in Texas sure like to riot.  Note how Texas didn’t have riots when they got hit with a hurricane, but Now Orleans did and so did Paris.

When some asshole North African Muslim kid starts setting my car on fire, it would be nice to shoot a couple of them.  Once you start shooting a couple, the riots stop, don’t they.

My bigger beef is that law enforcement in these countries have guns but the population doesn’t.  I guess it makes sense to have armed governments in France and Germany, but unarmed citizens.  It isn’t like these countries have ever needed armed citizens to protect themselves from government or anything.  It is a lot easier to capitulate and send Jews to the ovens when the Jews are unarmed and don’t shoot back.

Gun ownership in France, Italy and Spain is actually quite high and in Switzerland there are more guns per capita than in the US. This article is just leftist hyperbole and should be dismissed as the crap it is. The reaction here in the UK (as the rest of Europe) has been typically knee-jerk with the MSM spear-heading it.  Everyone here seems to accept the tosh they are fed by the MSM without question, when it is apparent (to anyone with half a brain) that the situation at Virginia Tech was the result of unfortunate circumstances, mental illness and perhaps an error of judgement by law enforcement/ college administration (I mean, before you pounce, the lack of prior prosecution or psychiatric referral).
It has nothing to do with gun laws at all.

Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.

Quite right! In fact, in Switzerland, the citizen soldiers are required to have fully automatic weapons in their homes! No reports of crazed Swiss shooting up the streets, probably because a not-so-crazed Swiss would pull out his own weapon and drop him like a bad habit!

Studies in the US show that rural areas have far higher guns per capita than urban and far lower violent crime rates. It is only about gun laws insofar as law-abiding people are denied the means of self defense!
