Duane Sand DEFEATS Earl Pomeroy in debate

I’ll get into this a little more later when I have time to digest the full Pomeroy/Sand debate that was televised on NBC this evening, but I wanted to touch on a few points.
1. Earl Pomeroy is a flat out liar. Pro Life? Pro Oil drilling? Give me a break. Flat out lies. I don’t care who reads it. Flat out. It angers me that NBC lets him get away with that. Ridiculous.
2. Duane Sand has total command of the issues and gives concrete facts. Pomeroy? Bush, McCain, Obama, Dorgan, Conrad...it’s always someone else. This guy is the least accountable person in the Congress. Barney Frank even admitted to some mistakes, but not ol’ Earl. It’s everyone’s fault but his own.
3. Earl Pomeroy has a temper problem. Did you see his face getting red? Did you see how he was moving his hand around like a madman and the vein was popping out on his head? Pomeroy, calm down. Are you feeling the heat now? Do you know that your hand was caught in the bailout cookie jar? Do you know your constituents are finally on to you? Pomeroy has anger issues. We already knew he liked to call names when he gets upset, but this really drove that home. Please chill out Mr. Pomeroy.
So all in all I give it to Duane Sand. Big time. Duane Sand has momentum and I honestly feel like North Dakota finally realizes that Earl Pomeroy is no different than Nancy Pelosi. Earl Pomeroy does not represent North Dakota values. Pomeroy represents San Francisco values. We saw tonight that Duane Sand is honest and decent and does in fact represent the values of North Dakota.
