Democrats Threaten to Disenfranchise Yet Another State!

Michigan, this time! You may recall, it was pointed out that the arbitrary rules set by the “so called” Democratic Party were going to disenfranchise Democrats in Florida for not following party rules.

History repeats itself in Michigan:
Democratic leaders voted Saturday to strip Michigan of all its delegates to the national convention next year as punishment for scheduling an early presidential primary in violation of party rules. In spite of the vote, some party leaders and officials said they believed the delegates would eventually be seated at the convention. (Maybe we’ll let your votes count...if we feel like it!)

Michigan, with 156 delegates, has scheduled a Jan. 15 primary. Democratic Party rules prohibit states other than Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina from holding nominating contests before Feb. 5. Florida was hit with a similar penalty in August for scheduling a Jan. 29 primary.

Democrat…has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? As if they believed in democracy!

Unless you don’t behave the way the party bosses want you to behave. Then, they’ll take away your “right to choose” your next presidential candidate!

In other words, we believe in your sacred right to vote…unless, of course, it threatens the power structure of the party bosses!

(Don’t blame me! With the writer’s strike, there’s nothing but re-runs!) smile
