Pot to kettle… “Yur black!” We (the US) are shrugging off genocide. What these cartoons don’t illustrate is that the Israeli and US concern is instrumental and only directed at the end of maintaining moral superiority. We aren’t really sad and neither is Israel. Neither of us have done anything real. We get more sad when oil is being mistreated. ...oh, I mean when WMDs are being developed and women are being oppressed. Speaking of the oppressed women line, how’s the afghanistan war doing these days? I bet its really exciting, seeing all the ‘increased stability’ it has brought to the region. We went from having a bunch of ninnies from the seventh century lords over useless desert to loosing billions and men and whatnot and now Habib is about to gain permanent holds on various regions of Pakistan and, potentially, nukes. When can we begin applauding? Is it too early?
