Common Sense from the Right Please
I’m a right winger, but sometimes my brethren on the right seem to be tone deaf.
On two issues do I take issue:
Sotomayer will be confirmed. Pick the battle later. Sure give her a hard time but too much falderal now will neuter the effort when Obama picks the real crackpot as Ginsburg retires. Just back off, keep the powder dry.
Nationalized health care is fait accompli. The right’s arguments are completely lost in the morass that is bad insurance, bad policy, bad medical charges. I’m for individual responsibility, but we have an out of control monopoly as an inverted ponzi scheme destroying enterprise. Get on board and try to craft it instead of living in denial. It’s over boys, you can be part of the solution or let them have the disaster they have crafted. It’s time to kill off a few sacred cows in phama, big medicine and big insurance. Screw em. They’ve done me and my family long enough. This is a lost cause, now lets see if we can be constructive.
This is why the Right can’t win elections. It doesn’t know how to pick a fight. It just flails wildly at the wind and hits nothing.
I love the TEA PARTIES because they focus on key issues, but this is foolish politics.
And, Bob, thanks for the nice case of Cheese.
