"NORMAN, Okla. — A jury recommended the death penalty Friday for a man convicted of luring a 10-year-old girl into his apartment, killing her and mutilating her body.

Jurors deliberated for nearly 8 1/2 hours before recommending that Kevin Underwood, 28, be put to death for killing Jamie Rose Bolin. He was convicted last week of first-degree murder.

Underwood, who showed no emotion as the verdict was read, was handcuffed and led from the courtroom while 10 armed deputies stood guard. He is scheduled to be formally sentenced on April 3.

His mother, Connie Underwood, sobbed quietly after the verdict was announced.

Jamie’s father, Curtis Bolin, had little to say. “I still have to absorb it,” he said, overcome with emotion.

During closing arguments, prosecutors argued that Underwood should be put to death because he is plagued by deviant sexual fantasies that make him want to kill, rape, torture and eat his victims.

Jurors also had the option of sentencing Underwood to life in prison, either with or without the possibility of parole. For him to be sentenced to death, prosecutors needed to prove either that he is a continuing threat to society or that the crime was heinous, atrocious and cruel.

“This was the worst of the worst,” Mashburn said as he displayed some of the items found in Underwood’s apartment, including a cutting board prosecutors say he used to beat the victim before suffocating her.”

The predator lured a little girl to his abode, suffocated, beat, probably raped, then murdered her. And then disfigured and ate part of her.
This so-called person doesn’t deserve the governmental death penalty: the quick, easy, drug-hazed way out. Oh, no:

He deserves raw meat rubbed on his scrotum, seconds before recovered stray pit bulls are unleashed.

He deserves:

An eyelid removed by scalpel, so that he can see the hot iron as it’s being plunged into his other eye.
Being mounted on a man-sized turntable set on 78 RPM, with one of his nipples clamped in an industrial vise.
Waterboarding. I don’t mean your classic waterboarding; I mean pouring saltwater on him while he’s beaten in the face with a heavy board.
Being shot as many times as possible, in non-fatal areas.
Being tazed every 16 seconds. Until the next Leap Year.
Having his teeth pulled. By “pulled”, I mean shattered from time-to-time with a tap-and-die set.
Showing him the meaning of the word “wrecktal” by way of pneumatic cucumber.

Then, after completing all of these steps, should he be eligible to face the girl’s parents. The parents shall have table saw blades, needles, hammers, and plenty of lemon juice on hand as the two parties discuss exactly why this sick fuck did this to their innocent little girl.
Then, I will be satisfied with the lethal-injecion death penalty - knowing that he suffered 1/10,000th what the girl and her parents suffered.

The same goes for the sickly ACLU lawyer who inevitably chooses to defend him.
