One of the benefits of my NRA support was to get a video of that speech right after he gave it.  (maybe a month or two). 

Quite the speech. 

I’m posting it on the front page since you don’t need to wait for the VHS tape like I did.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

The best epitaph a man can leave are the Great Works which he leaves behind as his legacy.

I feel no bitterness in his death, as he lived long and greatly.  I have no doubts that his shade is in a better place and living it up (so to speak) with his old friends, and perhaps a few new ones from ages past.

He was from that generation of actors that worked for positive change and inspiration.

If there is to be any sadness in his passing it is for us, for who is there to fill this great mans’ sandals?
