California Fires Terrorist Related?

I’ve not been happy with the idea of natural causes for the California fires.  Natural fire cause are almost always lightening strikes which are very unlikely in an area suffering from drought.  Additionally fires that spontaneusly start in several different areas are always suspected to be caused by arson.  But were the alleged arsonists Islamic terrorists?  Well, according to the WND article, there is a distinct possibility.  From California fires spark suspicion of terror again

California authorities have confirmed some of the wildfires that have triggered the evacuation of about a million people and burned 1,600 structures with damages at more than $1 billion were set deliberately, and a terror watch organization says the circumstances match terror plans the FBI alerted law enforcement to several years ago.

“In 2003 an FBI memo alerted law enforcement agencies that an al-Qaida terrorist being held in detention had talked of masterminding a plot to set a series of devastating forest fires around the western United States,”

Terrorist related arsons have been reported in France and are a frequent occurence in Israel.

In blazes across Europe that year, there was evidence terrorists may have contributed. Authorities said after fires swept through the Moures mountains near the French Riviera, investigators found Molotov cocktails – gasoline bombs – at the ignition point for fires that killed at least four and destroyed 50 homes.

In fact, Arab terrorists in Israel have started dozens of major forest fires over the years.

As far back as 1988, Israeli police caught more than a dozen Palestinian adults in the act of setting fires, while other Arabs confessed to arson after arrest. Some fires followed specific calls by underground Arab terrorists. A leaflet issued by the Palestinian uprising’s underground leadership called for “the destruction and burning of the enemy’s properties, industry and agriculture.”

Whether foreign or domestic...it’s not natural to have 16 separate wildfires suddenly start.

wet, are you sure the arsons weren’t aliens from planet Playtex?

The news reports stated that their were many freeloaders at the stadium that have been evicted after an identity check.

is that right DOCTOR? is that in a science text somewhere? since when should we believe your crap assertions? probability doesn’t tell us much - but somehow you seem to think it does. do share. you guys armwave at alQaeda when kids drop their ice cream cones on the side walk - its absurd. i would frequent this blog more if i could take it seriously, but the quality of some of the reader blog posts, of late, has degraded to the posting of shitty internet jokes. wtf? trying to drive rob’s readers from the fold? is anna a dem in disguise?

Spoken like a true expert on crap!
BTW, Spark, I’ve heard the crickets chirp over at your blog!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

BTW, Spark: WTF? You take issue with dd and bust on Anna! (And I say that knowing that the words “bust on Anna” will cause me no end of distraction!)

Docdave: I’m sure some crazy Arab group will claim that they were responsible for this, If a tree fell on the white house they would claim that as well.

What can I say, I’m not a blogger. Cutting and pasting other people’s copy just ain’t my style. My posts tend to be too dry, too researched and generally just get yawns from people (c.f. Joel on my anti-multiculturalism post). Its okay. There just aren’t enough minimalists around here - despite the dem/big govvy bashing. Everyone is busy with gossip and jive talk - all the news is shitty (not even believable) lies nowadays. I’m not gonna buy it until its on my block and it’ll be too late, but it won’t be stupid. Stupid is picking one of the umpteen realities (or a combination thereof) offered by the the teevees, preachers, and salesmen (really, what else is there?) nowadays and believing it wholesale. I was looking at the satellite pics of Syria’s facility today thinking how effing easy it is to photoshop in a cube-shaped building and a little shadow like that. I’m at least smart enough to know what I don’t know. Unlike a few others around here…

Sparkie’s posts here on SAB have gotten pretty good reactions.  I don’t see the world as I do, but he’s every bit as welcome as Anna is.  And everyone else.

This is my space guys, and I’m sharing it with everyone.  So quit griping at each other about posts.  If you don’t like what someone is writing, don’t read it.

I normally ignore Sparkless, but I was just getting tired of him coming in and crapping all over people. It was getting old...If he doesn’t like Anna or docdave, he can ignore them, too!

Very true, Proof.

I don’t care if you bash on one another, but who does and does not post here is my decision.

Sparkless, when you post crap like this, it’s best to ignore your obvious tantrum.  I will only say that the assertions are not mine alone and the FBI and local police are taking them very seriously.  Perhaps you should call your local FBI office and tell them that they are full of crap too.

As it should be! BTW, the lame blog I was referring to was not his ramblings here, but the underpopulated Sparkwiple Institute…

I got what you meant.

I just didn’t want anyone dogging on Anna for her posts.  I like ‘em.  They’re often a nice break from the politics.

Blogging is about having fun, remember.

I should post all the emails I’ve received from Rob telling me to quit goofing around and start getting serious about my posting or I was going to be fired.

Of course that all ended after I tracked down “the picture.”

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I was wrong it wasn’t some crazy Arab group that would claim responsibility it was some crazy Hispanic group. Or is this the politically correct way of saying Mexicans?

It’s simple illegal aliens started the fire because they where hungry.
