Blatant Hypocrisy Exposed!

By the brilliant John Stewart, or as Stephen Colbert describes him, “Jon deconstructs the news and he’s, ironic and detached, but I falsely construct the news and am ironically attached. You know I’m not detached at all. I’m passionate about what I’m talking about. Jon may point out the hypocrisy of a particular thing happening in a news story or the behavior of somebody in the news. I illustrate the hypocrisy as a character, that’s Jon being Jon and that’s me not being me, that’s me being the Stephen Colbert guy.”

You know, I personally wouldn’t frown on the inexperience of a Republican as much as a democrat.  Inexperienced democrats are often idealistic and the risk to liberty greater.  While an inexperienced republican at least has a realistic world-view.

Other times our preferences and the importance placed upon a preference invites hypocrisy. It may be more important to O’reilly that a republican woman candidate be treated fairly in the media than who is to blame for teen pregnancy, for instance.  Unfortunately, in these situations, occasional errors in judgment or double standards arise.

So Karl was against small town mayors before he was for small town mayors.

Thanks Nunez

Excuse me, you were saying?

Yeah Rbb, cause that is equivalent to being for the war before you were against the war… not to mention those are the words of your own party’s last presidential candidate.  ( the irony of a democrat using his own candidates hypocrisy to try and draw an equivalence to a political operative’s is noteworthy )

To you it is more important that republican mistakes are highlighted than avoiding false equivalence to make your point.  See what I mean about errors in judgment?

Jon Stewart is a partisan comedian, nothing more.  All he “exposes” is his own fawning partisanship.
Weak, nutbag.  Of course, Dem politics is low comedy.

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart exposed as hypocrites?  Well, yes, they proudly proclaim that it is their stock in trade. Whats your point, Nun?

Unfortunately, the choice comes down to the least worst hypocrites. The lesser of two evils in this electionthe McCain/Palin ticket.

Some are thinking or have suggeseted that a McCain victory may damage the republican party, possibly irreparably. Some say it is necessary to save the republican party by ensuring our country’s demise comes at the hands of the democrats.

McCain is right about country first.  This election as all elections is about the foundation of our country, liberty.  We put America first when we understand liberty is our highest political priority, not the republican party.  Given the choices on the ballot, clearly the cause of liberty will be best served by a McCain/Palin victory in November.

Politics and factual revisionism make good bedfellows.

HG, I don’t give a shit about the Republican Party, or the Democrat Party. They are the problem.

They are the problem.

Agreed.

Now that the republican party is now the party of Palin, I hope to God she reforms it. It’s hers to shape for the foreseeable future.

Very possibly. Her and a cadre of small to medium sized city veterans. It is possible, though rather unlikely, given the past performance of both Parties.
