That’s a little something I like to call “Making friends and influencing people.”

I especially like all the fat jokes.  Because, you know, that’s mature political discourse.

Nodland over at NorthDecoder has had that as his spotlight link.  Because he’s that kind of mature I guess.

Rob: You may take comfort in the fact that when they use personal attack, it means they have nothing else.

Leftie political philosophy, from a DU commenter:

It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. RUMOR IS TRUTH. The modern laws of media hype and political warfare have a useful tenet: Repeat ANYTHING or raise false concern over ANYTHING and it is likely to be planted in the conscious/subconscious of many voters.

That’s true.

That whole post is nothing but a personal attack.  There’s no substantive rebuttal to my points on gun control.  Just “this guy is fat and looks stupid.”

I mean, tell me something I don’t know.

It is interesting that liberals here in North Dakota are latching on to it though.  Shows how much I’ve gotten under their skins.

You get the most flak when you’re over the target.

Absolutely.  I’ll put that one up right next to: “If you’re not making liberal’s heads explode, you’re not doing it right.” and “You can always tell the leader; he’s the guy with all the arrows in his back.”

Good one, Rob.

I worked down through the comments, and apparently all the crap that was being slung at you was coming from one person using sockpuppetry skills attained at DKos. Several commenters there actually had very good 2nd Amendment comments, though all of them took a smack at the sadlyno blog owner.

I especially liked the 1790 hits on his counter. That was oh, so impressive.

Silent Bob just stole the schematic of the stage from some foolish carpenter and found a weakness, just like the fucking Death Star. He figures if you pull this crossbeam out fucking bickety-bam, the whole stage comes crashing down.

I say you take sadlyno’s owner out with a sock full of quarters.  Find their site’s weakness and bickety-bam.  Like the muthafuckin’ death star.

Use that Jedi mind trick to put the video tape in…

Who’s your favorite New Kid? Call me Joey. Oh, yeah. Don’t make me get loose. I think that’s it. Yeah. Call me Donnie.

someone named ‘mr sparkle’ is commenting over there. biters. also, rob, it strikes me that sometimes your ‘political discourse’ takes (not quite so, but still) lows roads here and there. we brave americans can only proceed forward ACCORDING TO OUR OWN, WARPED, DOGMATIC JUDGMENTS ON CRAP INTEL/EVIDENCE nowadays anyway (a point we have all been brow-beaten with of late). such it is. I think we can ALL find solace in that.

spark, Mr Sparkle is a Simpsons reference. “I am so glad you have chosen to sell Mr Sparkle in your Prefecture!”

Oh, and I forgot, good find Troy!
