Another Global Warming Story--11” of Snow falls in Arizona on May 13

Damn that Global Warming… er… Climate Change

There were no April showers to bring any May flowers, but many Arizonans woke to snow, spotty rain and strong winds Tuesday morning during the typically warm month of May.

The low-pressure system that brought the wet weather had passed through the state just after noon, but a 30 percent chance of rain in the Valley still existed, according to the National Weather Service.

The Valley saw just trace amounts of rain throughout the morning along with wind gusts of up to 41 mph, according to the weather service. Meanwhile, the Flagstaff airport had about three inches of snow and around 11 inches of snow fell at Sunset Crater northeast of Flagstaff.

Climate Change, baby.  Man-made.  I drove my SUV to Starbucks today getting 15.6 MPG knowing that I am doing my part to cause Flagstaff snowfall.

I found a link on DemocraticUnderground to a global Warming apologist and debunker of naysayers.  He explained how global warming caused the Antarctic ice sheet to grow, even with warming it’s still very cold and climate change caused more precipitation.  All very reasonable except it would cause the same increase for the North Pole.

If every concievable outcome is explained by a single cause it’s not science, it’s faith.

Why don’t you call Steve Nash and make snow angels together. It’s not like he has anything else to do.

I do not t’ink Steve Nash means what you t’ink it means.

I am here not so much doubting Global Warming (TM) as I am doubting the religious fervor surrounding it and that comes from both sides.  These people kneel at the altar for one side or the other to the point they will fake data or knowingly use bad data.  That, for me, is heresy.

My position; global warming due to man’s intereference is a distinct possibility.  The CO2 increase (measured from the top of the active volcano) correlates well to increased industrialization.  This could lead to generalized warming, raw data I pull from weather.com is spotty though.

I do what I can to reduce energy useage including getting up to 50 mpg on my old clunker car (generally 35 - 45.) Until you put in atleast as much effort as me don’t preach to me to do more.

It is a personal reference to the Phoenix Suns and RBB is talking shit about them because they are my team and I expected them to beat San Antonio in the playoffs.

It is good form when an asshat fails to contribute other than to troll around and make offhanded and offtopic comments.  But if it not a Republican Dog Catcher getting caught cheating on his wife, Bob actually contributes absolutely nothing to the site anyway.  I have no idea why I ever feed the trolls.
