He’s got an ATF hat on...I wonder if the’s a real ATF agent.
As for ear protection, I can attest to that. I was out on Sunday again shooting the guns. I couldn’t find wad cutters for the .357, so I bought a box a regular rounds. After the first shot my ears were ringing.
I forgot how much louder the normal loads are…

Rob’s recently listened-to songs:
only girly boys shoot “target loads.”
I didn’t comment on the ATF hat as I kinda think it’s a photochop. The best I can figure ATF guys wouldn’t be caught dead at a range.
What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity? I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.
That has got to be a set up photo. You would not believe the “comedians” out there. And Rob, go to a hardware store and buy a box of throw away foam earplugs, should be about 200-300 pairs per box, and throw a handful in each of your vehicles and your gun case. You can actually use them several times and they are really cheap less than $10 a box. And you should fire regular or +P loads, getting used to firing target loads is bad for your accuracy and consistency. I never use light loads for anything other than sighting in on 25” targets. It helps you develop target aquisition.
My training doctrine is to fire 4 sets of target rounds at 25 feet and then shift to full loads at various distances. And don’t waste time firing at targets farther than 50 feet, at least until you are consistant in freehand firing on 25 to 50 feet. Lots of people get discouraged by trying to do lots of long range shooting.

Good advice, more people will be needing it.
