Algore must be livid.

Algore is certainly not reining in his priests very well! I mean, did he or did he not declare all debate and research at an end? Did he not decree that Global Warming is solely and only caused by human agriculture and industrial activities? Apparently someone did not get the memo.

“It’s the coupling of the world’s two great fluid systems that actively defines climate,” said Michael Freilich, director of Nasa Earth Science Division and former project scientist on QuickScat.

h/t to Molly Bentley at BBC. A very good article. I agree wit the basic premise, losing QuickScat is one of the stupider things Congress and NASA have decided to do in the last few years.

I always thought the primary mission of the Space Shuttle was for maintenance and upgrading of satellites in orbit. Wasn’t it?

The guy who invented the internet has set his sights higher: He’s going to change world consciousness. The Aspen Daily News reports that he told über venture capitalist John Doerr:

I’m engaged in a different kind of campaign,” Gore continued, “trying to bring about a change in thinking, awareness, and worldwide consciousness .”

How did Guru Gore get to Aspen? Did he take a private jet? He didn’t bicycle there, did he?

He’s exempt from the rules the rest of us are supposed to follow.

If carbon offsets are adequate to make the carbon footprint of Gore’s private jet go away, aren’t they sufficient to offset the comparatively miniscule carbon footprint of the average 8 cylinder SUV?

So then why don’t we all just purchase carbon offsets if reducing said footprint will cure the planet’s fever?

Answer:  Al Gore is as big a fraud as man-made global warming, and no amount of carbon offset purchases reduces the carbon emissions of his private jet.

Algore must be livid.

The word that comes to mind when I think of Al Gore is “lipid"!
