Wife feeds husband dog poo curry
An angry estranged wife took revenge on her husband – by feeding him a curry containing dog excrement.
Speaking in her defence, solicitor Terry Gallanagh said that the case was like ‘an episode of Desperate Housewives’.
47-year-old Jill Martin pled guilty to the charge of culpable and reckless conduct at Paisley Sheriff Court.
The court heard that after serving him the dish on March 13, and watching him as he started eating it, Martin burst out laughing.
Overweight man squashes wife to death
An overweight man was jailed for five years after he killed his wife by sitting on her during a domestic dispute.
The 20-stone (300 lbs) man ‘sat on his wife’s chest for at least two minutes and broke her ribs in 18 places’, said Jan-Michael Seidel, a spokesman for the court in the northern town of Hildesheim.
‘It was quite deliberate.’
The woman, who was half her husband’s weight, died from her injuries less than a month later.
Woman knocks husband out with potato
When things got heated between a husband and wife in Nicholson, Georgia, she reached for the first thing that came to hand - a spud.
When her partner called her by a rude word, she grabbed the potato and threw it at him.
The spud hit him square in the nose, knocking him unconscious.
Police were called to the house on Thanksgiving morning. The 43-year-old woman told them that she and her husband started to argue in the kitchen at about 1am. The couple had been drinking.
The woman said she didn’t mean to hit her husband and called police as soon as he fell unconscious. Her husband decided not to press charges.
