About that Immigration Reform Piece of Shit

According to the National Journal’s Hotline blog, House Republican leader John Boehner has a pretty good understanding of the pending immigration “reform” bill crafted by Senate and White House negotiators.

“I promised the President today that I wouldn’t say anything bad about ... this piece of shit bill,” he said, according to two attendees.

Earlier in the day, Boehner released a statement saying that “The Senate agreement appears to recognize that additional border security measures and more effective immigration law enforcement must come before any other issues are addressed, but I have significant concerns about parts of the Senate proposal—particularly provisions that would reward illegal immigrants who have consistently broken our laws.”

Great we finally get some cuss word screening and Bat goes and does that.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler,

Think of it as a security assessment, or a form of linguistic war games.

Actually, I thought Boehner’s remark was much more significant… particularly as the MSM has not seen fit to publicize his succinct criticism of the bill.

No doubt, anything and anybody associated with this plugged up toilet of an administration, although they technically may speak whole sentences without the slight stammering and unsure patois of flop-sweated thespian of the Will Shatner/GW school of scenery chewing, are going to come off as a clueless morons, trying to convince no one (except maybe themselves) that even though their pants are wet, they didn’t commit the peeing. From what I understand, they optimistically scheduled projects for a goodly portion of the rest of the year onward, with the idea that the media would take up their assigned role as bend-over buddies, spreading the disguised manure of the Bush white house as if they were giving away free brown M&M’s and Baby Ruths. That’s good; I’ve always thought that with Bush’s slacker mentality towards fully engaged reality constructs and his barely repressed contempt for all things proper and ordained by the creator (or nothing, if you’re an atheist) with certain unalienable rights, it’s just a matter of time before he and his various department heads, including Bob and Neal, are roped in as a minions of Satan (or nothing) as their immortal souls (firing synapses caused by bio-chemical reactions) further descend into the maw of the dark side (or nothing). Though the hound from hell (or nowhere) licks gleefully at his shriveled nads, what is for him, the primary focus of his pitiful and pointless existence, he will be made to kneel before Sister Ann Daniel and confess his violation of the 9th commandment: Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife’s Alpo enhanced gash.

Carl Gordon: There are prescription drugs and therapy available to help you, as your rantings were those of a truly diseased, lunatic mind, and it is apparent that you have lost all touch with reality. We are not angry at what you have said, we know it is the terminal stages of the BDS disease speaking for you, in all compassion I would like to suggest that you also might benefit from a good old fashioned exorcism.

From what I’ve heard about this Immagration Act, it’s terrible.
The guest worker program is a way to keep wages low and an indentured servant workingclass.
Who would have thought they’d use Immigration as another giveaway to business?
Oh that’s right, everyone.

And Nieman,
Drop the BDS crap.  If you don’t yet know why people think Bush is the worst President ever, and you still thinks it’s BDS, then you should go back to your coloring books and leave the conversation to the adults.

Newsflash: This Immigration POS is for the benefit of the Dem Party, assuring it a large pool of uneducated, ignorant voters into the forseeable future.
Carter was the worst President of all time, hands down.  He bent over for the terrorists, and started the ball rolling toward 9/11.

robert108,

Love the projection.

What 4+ year war that killed 3500+ American soldiers did Carter start?

Or are you just pissed-off because he warned you about oil 30 years ago?

BTW, the guy who “bent-over” and did the bidding of terrorists (in both the Mideast and Central America) was St. Ronnie Reagan.

Nice try though.

Libya and Greneda.  Carter handed over both the Panama Canal and Iran, and allowed Khomeini to intimidate us.  Great guy!  He also had double digit inflation and double digit interest rates.  Very good! Carter laid the foundation for our energy problems today by bending over for the environazis, as well.
Try not to lie so much.

If you don’t yet know why people think Bush is the worst President ever,

Would you like to clarify that statement?  I suppose you don’t believe in Islamic terrorism either and believe that Bush was directly responsible for 9/11, and please explain the basis for your hatred of the president.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

I don’t understand how this immigration thingy is supposed to help all those employers who like to pay Third World slave wages.

Once the Illegals are magically and instantly transmogrified into being here legally, doesn’t the Damocles Sword of deportation-if-you-don’t-like-it (working conditions, low wages, no bennies, etc.. ) suddenly disappear?

Won’t they now qualify for minimum wage, social security and paying taxes, and the entire bevy of things associated with employing legal AMERICAN workers?

Don’t think for a moment that—once the immigration “reform” goes through that LaRaza, the ACLU and every Leftist and hispanic organization won’t bring class actions against employers to get their workers full-scale US wages.

Match this to the mandatory minimum wage and what will that have done for the American job market?

Maybe I’m missing something.

I think the Slave Wage aspect of the so-called upside of illegal immigration may be a canard—what Bush really wants is to give the USA away to Mexico, since that is what the SPP is supposed to be all about anyhow—innit?
