A thought on no fault divorce
If we eliminate no fault divorce, it seems that we might be “treated” to more high profile divorce cases, and the lurid allegations involved, like case of Jim McGreevey and his soon to be ex wife.
While certainly the prospect of shame might tone down peoples’ behavior to avoid public shaming, there’s also the possibility that the shameless (say the former governor) might use that opportunity to crush their soon to be ex spouses.
No easy answers, methinks.
