a reverse gun buy back?

I’ve been at these before and witnessed convicted poachers attend to buy back guns which were through the judicial process ordered turned over as part of the sentence for poaching crimes. In turn the money raised is put towards rewards for the report all poachers program.

Confiscated hunting and fishing equipment will be sold at the North Dakota Wildlife Federation’s Report All Poachers auction on Friday, Aug. 14 in Bismarck. The auction is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the AMVETS Club, located at 2402 Railroad Ave.

Auction items can be viewed between 4-6 p.m. The federation will charge a $5 cover fee, and those who attend will receive a flashlight or other gift, and a raffle ticket for a drawing.

Further information, including a comprehensive list of items for auction, is available by accessing the Internet website bitzauction.com.

Proceeds from the auction fund the RAP program. The RAP line, (800) 472-2121, offers monetary rewards for information that leads to conviction of fish and wildlife law violators. The RAP line is available 24 hours a day, and callers can remain anonymous.
