A Coat of Many Colors

“Speaking as a private individual, I would not vote for John McCain under any circumstances,” said James Dobson, founder of the Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family as well as the Focus Action cultural action organization set up specifically to provide a platform for informing and rallying constituents.

Founder of Focus on the Anus

The good James Dobson only a few short months ago as quoted on the Laura I show:

“…I can not and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain as a matter of conscience…If these [McCain, Clinton or Obama] are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life. These decisions are my personal views and do not represent the organization with which I am affiliated, they do reflect however, my deeply held convictions about the institution of the family about moral and spiritual beliefs and about the welfare of our country.”

Uh-oh

Jimmy done did the flip flop on his moral conscience:

But I can tell you that if I had to go into the studio, I mean the voting booth today, I would pull that lever.

Focus on the Anus

More projection from rbb!

BTW, boob: Including that as part of a “quote” demonstrates more of your dishonest demagogic scumbaggery than his!

Check your reading comprehension, dwarf! I didn’t address the flip flop at all! I have no interest in defending James Dobson. I was merely pointing out what scum of the earth YOU are for your execrable projection and lying editorial in the form of what you represented as a direct quote!

Or please, miserable, lying scumbag dwarf: Show us the link that you “quoted” from for “Focus on the Anus”.

Or is it like so much of what you post, pulled out of your own ass?

Obviously, the more folks get to know Barack Obama and what he stands for, the more folks are rethinking their position regarding John McCain.

‘Course having a VP who takes her responsibilities to the voters, her faith, her family, and the Constitution seriously… and can field dress a moose… probably doesn’t hurt McCain either.

Mr. Dobson, and all his followers, are more than welcome.  Its a big tent.  We’ve got lots of room.

I don’t know Dr. Dobson personally, but I suspect that if asked he would point out that the parable of the Prodigal Son would be a much more appropriate analogy than the story of Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors.

He would probably also point out that it helps to know something more about the Bible than how to spell the word in order to understand the difference.

Well you might just be hypatheticly correct.

Ya know, I would like to ask Jimmy about Matthew 6:5.

If the number of TV viewers these past two nights is any indication, I think the question of any GOP “defections” has been made moot.

Your post about Dobson merely proves the point that McCain has done a masterful job of reinvigorating the GOP base… a far better job than Obama has done moving his far Left campaign more to the center.

This was the only Republican convention or any convention I believe that the incumbent Republican President or Vice-President didn’t show up. That tells you something.

BatOne,

The Republican tent is indeed big, but we’ve got no room for blackwaterboob and his ilk.  They can go hang with the candidate and party who take months to admit what is plainly clear to everyone else.

It tells you that there was a freakin’ hurricane about to hit, and the MSM was salivating at the prospect of showing an (insensitive) smiling George Bush and then some poor slob next to his storm devastated home!

You mean that poof?

Republicans have cognitive dissonance of Bush’s presidency, a presidency that many of you voted for, which reflects your judgement.

True that!  The GOP Big Tent is for adults.  Stray adolescents are handled through regular adoption agencies.

Nice adult response Capt’n Jack.

It’s hard to counter the truth, at least he didn’t lie as some people do on here. It’s tough for the Republicans in these times, which is the reason why they are so abrasive as you can see from the posts on this blog. They just had a presidency that was a disaster and many of them voted for it, now they have buyer’s remorse or even worse, they think it was good. But if they were bamboozled by Karl Rove and Bush last time around, what does it say it about them this time?

Well said Nunez. Our nation has matured beyond the fear and hatred that the GOP has been selling for the last eight years, but the conservatives don’t know anything EXCEPT fear and hatred.

The dead-enders and fanatics that plague this blog eat that shit up with a spoon. That’s how McSame was able to energize that half-empty hall last night.
