Gore: Fighting Global Warming Like Fighting Nazis

al_gore.jpg

If dealing with global warming is like fighting against Nazis, at what point are Mr. Gore’s activities suspended under the Trading With the Enemy Act?

I think the public’s response to Al Gore, and the whole idea of global warming in general is a good indicator of American’s levels of panic on the issue. When nearly half of the country is of the opinion that the threat of global warming is greatly exxagerated, and less than five percent voted in the last election based primarily on the subject of “the environment”, you should re-establish your position on a subject as closed-book fact.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with improving air quality, eliminating smog and reducing the amount of toxic waste we enter into our environment, but that’s never what this has been about.

Al Gore needs support for his political pet-project, by likening his cause to that of the largest global ideological conflict known to man, with the consequence of failure being the jettisoning of planet earth “into a tail-spin of epic destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves.”

      Scary innit?

If it isn’t, the ploy isn’t working. Al Gore, and those who support his distasteful brand of environmental alarmism need you to be frightened, and need you to feel pressured. How else will logical, rational people be convinced to foot the bill on Gore’s panic politics? With the better part of his political career invested in what he considers advocating for this cause, you can believe that Mr. Gore will do whatever it takes to convince you that the sky is falling, even if things like his extravagant, and decidedly not-eco-friendly lifestyle get in the way.

Because make no mistake, Al Gore has far more to lose, both in stature and purse string, than Mother Earth does in longevity if Americans put the global warming debate on the backburner.
